10:38 – Barbara is off to the gym and supermarket. We have two of those in Sparta: Lowe’s where she always shops, and Food Lion, which she generally avoids. Lowe’s has a middle-class and higher customer base, while Food Lion has mostly poor and lower middle-class customers. But there are a few things that our small local Lowe’s doesn’t carry that Barbara wants, so she’s going to do a look through there just to see what they carry.

While she’s there, she’s going to pick up a bag or two of baby Lima beans for me. Someone emailed me the other day to ask if she could plant stuff she bought at the supermarket, because it’s much cheaper than ordering seeds. The answer is yes and no. There are two issues to consider. First, is the supermarket seed (she asked specifically about dry beans) a hybrid or open-pollinated. If the former, it won’t breed true, although that may not matter because it may still produce usable plants, albeit with significant differences from plant to plant. The second issue is how the seeds were dried before packaging. Seeds are living things, and heat much higher than body temperature will kill some or all of them, depending on the temperature and length of treatment. When I dry seeds, I don’t use temperatures higher than 85F (~30C). In other words, like a warm day. The risk with using a commercial food dehydrator is that even the lowest temperature setting may be too hot for the seeds’ well-being.

I told her that most beans and legumes sold in grocery stores are open-pollinated, simply because they work fine as is and it would be too labor-intensive and expensive to produce hybrid seeds for planting. I’ll plant a few of supermarket baby limas in planting trays just to see how they do.

Overcast today, with showers possible, and heavy rains tomorrow, the weather liars say; we shall see; also very windy so no burn permit today. I guess I’ll run a couple of short errands and then work on the rear corner and perimeter stuff for a while.

Brexit nooz seems to have died down considerably for some odd reason; one wonders when another shoe will drop somewhere. A little over four months until the next Prez is elected and anything can happen between now and then. I see where Field Marshal Rodham and Huma showed up to hump four blocks of a gay pride parade caper in NYC and then disappear, Mission Accomplished. I wonder if the gays there understand about the regimes that funnel many millions to the Klinton crime family’s various foundations and slush funds? So they’re basically cheering for a woman who takes money from places that actively hunt down and murder homosexuals on a large scale.

The wife and I are in Carrollton, Texas to visit her father in the nursing home. He has been in three nursing homes now for 2.5 years and is fairly happy with this one. At first, he was going to be in rehab for a month after he had emergency gall bladder surgery and two heart surgeries. This was all “temporary”. Now it is permanent since he cannot walk anymore due to nerve damage in his back. He is 83.

My FIL is a disabled vet, having broken his back twice while in the army. He took medical retirement, forced, back in 1970 and has worked several jobs since then. The army docs said he would be in a wheelchair at age 40, did not happen until age 81.

My wife is taking over his finances from his girlfriend, he has buried two wives. My wife worked very hard to get his VA disability up to 100% two years ago. She found the paperwork yesterday that she had been successful over a year ago. No one told her. And her father is now getting $2,900/month from the VA to help with his nursing home care. Which, is costing $5,100/month. But his other income is able to cover that.

We are staying in his house which we always stay in. It is a 12 year townhouse that he bought new next to his girlfriends townhome. One of us stays here every 2 or 3 months, it is empty otherwise. I just ate some oatmeal I left here three years ago.

If you think Cankles does anything like that because she supports the cause you are sadly mistaken. Cankles only joins the march for political votes and her own benefit. Nothing she does is for the benefit of anyone but herself. You’re smarter than the average American Bungler OFD so I know you know what you know and know that you know that I know what you know.

her father is now getting $2,900/month from the VA

MIL’s husband is in an assisted living facility. His income from military retirement and other sources will not cover the cost of his care. When my aunt went in an an assisted living facility I was able to get about $1K a month to help with expenses. I don’t remember having to provide any information on assets to the VA. Trying to get MIL’s husband the same benefits is not working. The MIL claims the VA will not provide the benefits because she has too much money. I find that odd.

Of course this is the same MIL that will not listen to others. I have told her to got to the VFW and get them to assist in the paperwork. Or go to the state VA office and file the papers there. But she adamant she was told she would not qualify and thus will not pursue it any further. Never received a denial from the VA as she has yet to file the claim. Cannot get her to file anyway and let the VA decide, not some person in a cubicle that may not know better.

Of course this is the same MIL who has paid too much in taxes as she declares all her SS income as taxable. Has for years. I told her to let me redo her taxes and file an amended return. I have told her to go a local senior center where they can redo her taxes. Even go to the IRS. She refuses because she says she does not want to upset the IRS. So she instead lets the IRS steal from her.

What I find even more disturbing is the IRS has not caught, and corrected the issue. I know from experience that one little mistake on the tax forms where you owe the IRS money is caught within three years (wait until the last moment to get maximum interest which is higher than any current bank loan). Any mistake where the IRS owes you money is never caught. Seems odd to me. And if you do catch your error in your favor the IRS will not pay you any interest. Any mistake by the IRS and you still don’t get interest for your money.

Did not mean to get you started OFD.

I’ve been thinking about burying my wife. Or throwing her off a bridge. Tossing her into a volcano would be great, except the nearest volcano is in Iceland.

Er, wait, that’s probably not what you meant. Never mind…

If I somehow ever implied that I thought Cankles sincerely believes in anything but herself, I hereby apologize and declare that has never been my intent; I am fully cognizant of her character and behavior and have been for decades, but not as long as Mr. DadCooks has, to be sure. Of COURSE she doesn’t give a blind rat’s ass for homosexuals; she was only there for the photo op and a possible boost for votes from them, and they’re either woefully ignorant or just don’t give a shit about their gay brothers and sisters being hunted down and murdered by the regimes that give millions to the bitch. As it was, several of them apparently noticed that she took off as soon as she could, and most peeps by now recognize that sorta thing for what it is, one hopes.

“Did not mean to get you started OFD.”

Quite alright, old chap; I’ve been seething for a long time now over the same stuff you mention regarding the IRS methodologies and tactics. And I’m pretty sure we’re about to enter upon yet another series of battles with them up here. i.e., we agreed to monthly payments, which amount to nearly a grand each, but looking at them and the principal shows that the latter is utterly unaffected; this is like unto dealing with loan sharks where we’re simply paying the vig each month. They also started chopping off a couple hundred each month from my SS payments toward repayment of old student loans from nearly thirty years ago. Pretty slick, eh? But the high rollers and grand nabobs don’t have to concern themselves with chit like this, so multiple me by a few million and one might then be able to grasp the level of visceral hatred and bitterness that grows more each day if not each hour in this country.

  6. MrAtoz says:

I’ve been seething for a long time now over the same stuff you mention regarding the IRS methodologies and tactics.

The IRS, SS, VA, Medicare etc. have made the rules so fucking complex that millions of derps are losing out on billions. Billions used for war, crimmigrants, slush funds, etc. MrsAtoz and I are coming up on SS. I now have to take a course on how to optimize our SS. She’ll probably keep working and won’t draw SS as long as possible. Should I take hers, does that affect mine, etc. Will she make enough that I don’t have to take SS. How do you maximze it? What a fucking mess. I don’t want to spend the time figuring it out so will pay for somebody/course to do so.

If things remain as they are today, at least with my pension, SS, any VA bennies, I can get decent old folks care when I’m shitting my Depends every hour.

  7. MrAtoz says:

If I somehow ever implied that I thought Cankles sincerely believes in anything but herself,

I still don’t understand why the LGBTXYZ community support Cankles and Ofukstik. They have completely failed them with their promises. They both suck the cocks of every Mooslim country in the world. Countries which jail, torture and outright kill that community. Never a word said about that. I guess they believe in unicorn farts and that Cankles cobwebbed snatch makes her/him/it one of them.

Your local huckleberries at work. Note, do not try to flee cops under penalty of a mag emptying spree in your direction:

A shocking video shows a white police officer firing seven times at a black teenage driver, who had both hands on the wheel.

The 17-year-old driver Antwon Gallmon was left hospitalized after the incident and the cop Robert Cooper has been suspended from duty.

Gallmon can clearly be seen attempting to drive away from the scene as Cooper aims his gun at the car and shouts, ‘Stop! Stop! Do not make me shoot you!’

But Gallmon, keen to escape from the scene, swings his Honda Accord away from the cop and drives off.

This is guessing you will not be claiming early.

You can claim against your benefit or half of your spouse’s benefit. Log on to the SS website and you can look up the benefit amount. If yours is larger than 50% of her benefit, then claim against yours.

If she is working and is younger than full retirement age any SS will be reduced by a significant amount depending on the amount she makes. Once she reaches full retirement there is no reduction.

Claiming early before full retirement age should only be a last resort as the reduction is significant. Claiming later than full retirement age will only benefit you if you live beyond 87 years (a crap shoot).

Originally I was going to wait until I reached 70 to claim. Not going happen so I am going to claim when I reach 66. My friend’s death really changed my mind.

My advice, and it is worth what you paid, based on what I know, is to claim against your benefit or your wife’s benefit depending on which is higher. Claim when you reach full retirement age, don’t wait. Same with your spouse when she reaches full retirement age even if she continues to keep working as any SS benefit will not be affected by employment. You don’t need the money so there is no reason to claim early. Start the claim process about two months before your full retirement date.

You can claim against your benefit or half of your spouse’s benefit.

I know Congress passed some new laws last year that affects this. I haven’t even read them yet. What a fucking mess.

  14. Ray Thompson says:

I know Congress passed some new laws last year that affects this

That had to do with claiming twice. For example, I could claim against my wife’s earnings when I turned 66 and wait until 70 and then claim against mine for a higher benefit. My wife could claim against her earnings when she reached 62 then claim against my earnings when she reached 66.5. They have now blocked that and what you claim is what you get for the rest of your life.

  15. Ray Thompson says:

Starting Friday in TN any veteran can get a hand gun carry permit without taking the normally required class. I have thought about getting a permit but did not want to take the class. Ah, so easy now. I wonder how many couples married/divorced (now LGBTXYZ) have been screwed out of $$$. More billions for war, crimmigrants, etc.

  18. MrAtoz says:

lol! Globalists looking at forming a Euro Super State. Every poor nation in the region will want to sign up. I hope this happens and every fucking desolate country is let in. They’d be spiraling down the shitter before the ink is dry.

And BREXIT. I already see shenanigans by the Overlords to revote, delay, etc. Now that Lurch has flown in to save the day (and Ofukstik’s face) how many days before the vote is ruled null and void?

  19. MrAtoz says:

lol! Liberal fuktardism at it’s best:

Richard Posner, a judge on the U.S. Court of Appeals for The Seventh Circuit of Appeals, let loose in a recent op-ed for Slate his hatred for the Constitution.

“I see absolutely no value to a judge of spending decades, years, months, weeks, [days], hours, minutes, or seconds studying the Constitution, the history of its enactment, amendments, and its implementation,” wrote Posner.

    Where’s my Federal paycheck, bitches!

  20. MrAtoz says:

Now that SCOTUS has overturned Tejas abortion clinic standards law, shouldn’t every clinic/hospital have lower health standards? Ruth Bader Fukstik’s reasoning was those regs made abortion too expensive. Couldn’t the same be said of every clinic especially those Urgent Care ones? Think of the money saved and passed on to the patients for not using sanitation procedures, gloves and cleanup crews.

  21. OFD says:

“The IRS, SS, VA, Medicare etc. have made the rules so fucking complex that millions of derps are losing out on billions. Billions used for war, crimmigrants, slush funds, etc.”

As was/is the intent, once again, with malice aforethought.

“I still don’t understand why the LGBTXYZ community support Cankles and Ofukstik. They have completely failed them with their promises.”

I don’t get it, either. They must enjoy being lied to and then screwed. And not in a good way, either.

“Average of $20,000 to bring each refugee to the USA. Payments of $5,000/month to each refugee family for living expenses. For life!”

They come here out of love. Imagine immigrants a hundred years ago receiving this sort of largesse from benign and brain-dead taxpayers. We could get by very nicely up here on that kind of money each month, without lifting a finger. Assuming it was net and not taxed.

“…do not try to flee cops under penalty of a mag emptying spree in your direction…”

Obviously, nowadays. In the old days we might chase them, or we might just radio ahead and catch them, already having the reg and ID, of course, or simply grab them at home later, depending on the alleged offense.

“Starting Friday in TN any veteran can get a hand gun carry permit without taking the normally required class. I have thought about getting a permit…”

I wonder if my Virginia CCW permit would be recognized by Tennessee…but of course up here in the great Green Mountain State, we don’t need no stinkin’ permits.

“…. how many days before the vote is ruled null and void?”

We can take bets, but as the Ronin link sez, it’s up to Parliament and they can take at least two years to dick around with it and play games and for all intents and purposes make it null and void. The elites just do whatever they want, but they may end up facing even more anger, hatred and bitterness as they commence upon this course of action/inaction.

“Richard Posner, a judge on the U.S. Court of Appeals for The Seventh Circuit of Appeals, let loose in a recent op-ed for Slate his hatred for the Constitution.”

But he’s absolutely right, though; the Constitution and Bill of Rights have been bum wad for a very, very long time now. Why bother studying them? Make up chit as you go along, which judges in this country have been doing for a very long time also.

“Think of the money saved and passed on to the patients for not using sanitation procedures, gloves and cleanup crews.”

Indeed. Soon our so-called “healthcare” system will be able to emulate the Congo’s. And the elites will get top-shelf care somewhere anyway.

  22. Ray Thompson says:

they all fell into the Mississippi River in a terrible boating mishap

Nope, not even close. Lost them all in the Clinch River, just below Kingston before it merges into the Tennessee River.

shouldn’t every clinic/hospital have lower health standards

That is the job of the insurance companies. Latest scam for prescriptions is to only pay for generics, generics that are in short supply and generally not available. All that is left is name brand and of course those aren’t covered.

I already see shenanigans by the Overlords to revote, delay, etc

You expected anything less? Seriously, when the self appointed kings and queens don’t get their way they find a way to circumvent the will of the majority. After all, we are mere peons without that depth of knowledge (and under the table cash flow) that makes them more valuable then anyone else. Reminds of a pouting child who got his/her/shim/sher toy taken away.

I wonder how many couples married have been screwed out of $$$

I would be one of those as I missed the cutoff by a year. SS is finding any way it can to stop spending money. I suspect my son will not be able to collect until he is 70. Anyone over the age of 50 should be OK. But look for the laws to change in the next couple of years.

  23. MrAtoz says:

Does no one at all in the West SEE this???

tRump should be front and center with this stat! But, Cankles will just say “It’s for the US children, you see, so, NEVER MIND!”

Maybe the LBGTXYZ/Cait/BLM crew will get a clue. Nah, “what’s on the TeeeVeee”, “gotta get some ciggies, I’ll trade using my EBT”, “no condom anal sex anyone, YES PLEASE!”, “gotta kill me some rival Chitown n*ggahs”. On and on. Boobus Amerikanus.*

*See how I snuck anus in there for the Gays.

I found a website, maximizemysocialsecurity, which purports to maximize your SS. But it is $40/yr which I don’t want to pay. Created by some PhD. “44 things to max your SS“.

MrAtoz is 61 and brings in no income (mil pension)

MrsAtoz is 62, brings in a lot, probably will work till at least 66 (mil pension)

What should I do?  Any input is welcome.

  26. Ray Thompson says:

    Any input is welcome.

My advice, taken with a grain of salt, but based on my research.

You wait until you are 66 (born in 1954 or earlier) or 66.5 (born 1955 or later) until you apply. Apply against your wife’s earnings and you will get 50% of your wife’s benefit amount. You will still keep your mil pension.

Your wife should wait until 66.5 and then apply against her benefits where she will get 100% of her benefit amount. She can also keep working without affecting her benefit amount. Start earlier and she will lose a lot while she is still working.

You would have to live beyond 87 to benefit from waiting. Get the money now.

She can log on to the social security website and see her earnings and estimated benefit amount. That would also give you what the 50% amount would be for your benefit.

You also need to check your earnings and see what your benefit amount would be at full age. If if is more, apply against yours, if less than 50% of your spousal unit, apply against her earnings.

  27. OFD says:

“What should I do? Any input is welcome.”

You should link up with OFD in a series of armed robberies of dope dealers and banksters and financial speculators across the continent; I’ll handle the weapons and other gear; you do the transportation.

I only have my own sorry situation to offer, perhaps as a sad lesson for somebody somewhere: I am 62 and closing fast on 63 (in three weeks) and bring in no income anymore because I’m way too old, evidently, to work in IT where I’ve been, off and on, since 1984. Except I started taking SS, because 1.) we can’t count on timely disbursement of wife’s pay from her employer, and 2.) we have ongoing monthly expenses that MUST be met, including the IRS tax hit of a grand. So basically my SS is paying that monthly Fed vig now, minus what they’re taking out for some student loan I had thirty years ago in grad skool.

I’m working on ways to gin up more revenue for us here and wife is meanwhile still slaving away all over the country and will probably keep on with it for a while longer, maybe until she’s 66 (she’s 61 now) as she loves the work but gets exhausted after each gig, plus all the air travel and hassles, etc., etc. MrsAtoz and MrAtoz are undoubtedly eminently familiar with all that stuff.

So she may start taking her SS at that point, age 66, and meanwhile I’m hanging here, with some other guys, waiting on possible VA disability payments, too.

We could manage OK with a bare minimum of $4,000/month net. Esp. once Princess finally finishes college and annual European tours. And assuming we have to keep paying a grand a month to the IRS, which is right now covered by my SS. If she went to one gig per month she’d net about $4,000 right there, but she’s been doing at least two per month for a while now and the $ has gone to car repairs and stuff that had/has to get done on the house.

I’m trying to work on bringing enough revenue here so she CAN go to one a month.

    And that’s our sorry-ass situation.

“You would have to live beyond 87 to benefit from waiting. Get the money now.”

That is known as chumming the waters.

You should sell your possessions, leave your wife, and go live in some third-world shithole where your pension will let you live like a king. The King of the Shithole, true, but still a king.

You should strap on one of those Vests by DuPont and stroll into any Social Security office and give them a piece of your mind… and a piece of your femur and …

You should vote for Bernie! because he’ll fight the power for you.

You should think of your own ways to rage against the machine.

  30. OFD says:

Lotta ‘Nam and SEA vets stayed behind or went back, and live in Thailand, for example, with lifer pensions plus SS and any disability, and style and profile like princes. They’d usually married young Thai poo-ying who were pretty hot THEN. Not so sure about now, but one thing I would not have done, is come back to the land of the big PX with one. There are even American Legion and VFW posts over there, including China Post Number One, dating back to the days of Chiang Kai Shek & Company. Live like royalty on yer pension and SS and whatever else; wait till you’re about 60 and then marry a young poo-ying.

“…stroll into any Social Security office and give them a piece of your mind…”

My choice, of course, would be an IRS office….

“…because he’ll fight the power for you.”

Too late! Bernie felt the burn and now he’s toast! He’ll be voting for Field Marshal Rodham and then holding off on actually endorsing her until there is some kinda quid pro quo, of course.

    “I’m keeping my drones.”

Doesn’t the FAA have some new reqs for that now, involving an actual license or certification???

  31. MrAtoz says:

Doesn’t the FAA have some new reqs for that now, involving an actual license or certification???

Yes, I have mine for personal use since most exceed the minimum weight.

The FAA just came out with new regs for biz/pro use of drones. I’ll probably get one of those lics so the gooberment can have it’s way with me. You know, empty a mag, just to be sure, sort the drones out afterwards.

  32. MrAtoz says:

One thing about living like a king in most shitholes, US and foreign, it takes a staff. You need security which costs. you need housekeeping, maybe grounds. You need a driver (who can double one of the other jobs). You need a man of all work.

and at any time, any of those staff can dime you to the kidnappers/govt/crimelords.

Relative by marriage thought it was grand to go live in south africa. Big money for the Dr earning. Never considered WHY he would earn so much. Staff, compound, very restricted movement. Didn’t stay long. Moved to Russia for a similar deal. I guess they are now in with the right people as they’ve been there a while and seem to be staying.

    Step One:

EUROPEAN political chiefs are to take advantage of Brexit by unveiling their long-held plan to morph the continent’s countries into one GIANT SUPERSTATE, it has emerged today.

German Angela Merkel met with European heads today at the EU summit

The foreign ministers of France and Germany are due to reveal a blueprint to effectively do away with individual member states in what is being described as an “ultimatum”.

Under the radical proposals EU countries will lose the right to have their own army, criminal law, taxation system or central bank, with all those powers being transferred to Brussels.

  36. MrAtoz says:

Step Two will take place in Washington, DC, USA, as President Cankles says the US will merge with Mexico forming the Aztlan Super State. The government seat of power will be in Mexico City, of course. There will be no voting or discussion under penalty of death.

  37. MrAtoz says:

I heard about the PEP (Post-exposure prophylaxis) treatment for HIV exposure today.

A Gay friend decided he needed a one night stand over the weekend. There’s an app for that! He has no problem discussing his Gay sex life with me. He started out on top using a condom. Then they switched and the ONS put on a condom. When done, my friend turned around and had this conversation

    “Where’s the condom!”

“Oh, I took it off before I started.”

“WTF, over. My rectum is filled with who knows what.”

    “Oh, I’m safe.”

    “Where’s your testing paperwork!”

“I don’t need to be tested. I’m safe.”

“You need to go to the clinic with me to get tested!”

    “No, I’m safe, Bye.”

Now my friend is on PEP for a month. Hopefully he didn’t get infected and if yes, PEP works. The clinic also gave him a spectrum of drug for about every STD you can think of.

It’s 2016 and Gays have learned nothing it seems. I hope my friend tests clean.

  38. SteveF says:

Gays have learned nothing it seems.

That could be broadened: Almost all people learn nothing regardless of advice, logic, or experience.

Regardless, best wishes for your friend. I’d suggest cuddling up with someone to ease away the worries, but that’s what caused the problem in the first place.

Here’s a perfect counter-example: we call our stupid pigs Law Enforcement Officers.

  41. OFD says:

“That could be broadened: Almost all people learn nothing regardless of advice, logic, or experience.”

But homosexuals seem to have taken First Prize in that category since the wunnerful 1980s. And still….wait for it….on top.

“…with all those powers being transferred to Brussels.”

OFD can easily imagine them doing this and then over the next few years falling further down the toilet as their socialist economies with dwindling labor forces, higher prices for everything and swarms of musloid jihadis running around continue to be humongous issues. At some point Prince Vlad and the Russians may step in and grab back some of those countries they lost. And what will we do about it, light off a nuclear war? At the rate things are going, their conventional forces can kick our asses; Spetznatz versus cadets in high heels and tranny tank drivers.

  42. OFD says:

“Here’s a perfect counter-example: we call our stupid pigs Law Enforcement Officers.”

Indeed. I should point out, however, that decisions to launch SWAT teams on breaching and hostage situations do not come from rank-and-file guys on-site; somebody among the higher-level brass in league with local politicians and bureaucrats does that. My best guess at this point is that the SWAT guys went through the wall and may have immediately encountered the asshole, with other officers having already been inside for three or more hours? and a crossfire then ensued, wherein most of the casualties occurred. I still wonder if there was more than one perp in there, though, who may have got away among the people who managed to flee in time.

  43. SteveF says:

    falling further down the toilet

It seems there should be a joke in there about them swirlying themselves.

And what will we do about it, light off a nuclear war?

Well, it depends. Are any American interests at stake? No? Well, sorry, guys, we feel for you, we really do, but you’re on your own. “Friend of liberty everywhere, defenders only of our own”, don’t you know.

  44. OFD says:

“Are any American interests at stake?”

Oh but hell yeah! We are destroying tyranny everywhere in the world and making it Safe For Democracy! (subtext: we’ll keep tyranny here, of course, and democracy is long gone, if it ever existed at all).

Our dear leaders have been very busy poking the Russian hornet’s nest for decades now and have not only not slacked off, but intensified it; the Russians poke back and then we poke them again, and so on. Extremely stupid and wasteful and non-productive. We should be working with them against the musloids now, at least to some extent. Likewise we’re very busy stirring the shit with the Iranians/Persians, again, stupid, and the Chicoms. What are our interests with those places???

Rest assured if Europe falls apart at some point, we’ll have our fingerprints all over it and who knows what the Russians will end up doing. The Brussels asswipes are now floating various scenarios to make it all even scarier than the UK bailing out, which they haven’t actually done yet, incidentally.

I believe I mentioned right after the Orlando atrocity that I had an issue with the alleged KIA and wounded figures and shots fired and the activities of the LE’s on-site:

The autopsies will be interesting. Perhaps the DA will consult with Marilyn Mosby on how to suppress them. Gotta protect the narrative.

  47. OFD says:

    “…and reasonably priced.”

Yeah, I had some email earlier today about these; reputedly has stopped .45APC. Works as a whiteboard, too.

    “The autopsies will be interesting.”

Like we’d be told about any of it, other than the usual lies and obfuscation. They’re building their narrative and have been at it since SWAT was staged outside the building. These douchnozzles don’t miss a trick with stuff like this.

Started watching the “Benghazi…” flick earlier and got about half-hour into it and then VLC wanted to update so I let it go ahead. It’s 2.5 hours long! Didn’t want nightmares later so I let it slide for now. I can see already they’re making it clear what a massive clusterfuck that caper was from the start. If I’m not mistaken, the guy playing the CIA station chief has had parts in “The Wire” and “Breaking Bad,” too.

Oh sure, lotsa “metrosexuals,” idiot Dems (but I repeat myself), imbecilic Repubs who don’t like Trump, communists, socialists, apparently lotsa homosexuals, and the usual swarms of underclass derps, crimigrants, etc., etc.

    Then we have this:

“Al Qaeda urges its lone wolves to murder whites only, so the acts won’t be labeled as hate crimes. Omar Mateen, as great as he was, made a mistake. Don’t kill gays or latinos; stick to members of “the Anglo-Saxon community.””

Okey-dokey, fummamuckers, bring it; guess we gonna do the Crusader Dance again, eh? Incidentally, little musloids, we got heavier stuff now than just swords and siege engines…

  51. Ray Thompson says:

    The autopsies will be interesting

I suspect it will be mostly lies, rigged to avoid any casualties from the swat team and the Fife’s on-site. Higher ups I suspect have already told the ME what the findings will be. No one will have died from gunfire from the swat team.

OFD, thanks for linking to information about the Wabash Valley Seismic Zone. That was just what I didn’t need. As if the New Madrid Seismic Zone wasn’t bad enough.

  60. OFD says:

75 here currently, and it’s gone from sunny to partly sunny/cloudy and we have this warning now:

“STRONG TO OCCASIONALLY SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WITH LOCALIZED HEAVY RAINFALL ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP ON TUESDAY. THE PRIMARY FOCUS FOR THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE FROM THE ADIRONDACK MOUNTAINS EASTWARD INTO VERMONT, FROM ABOUT THE NOON HOUR ONWARD. THE PRIMARY THREAT ASSOCIATED WITH THE STRONGER STORMS WILL BE VERY HIGH RAINFALL RATES, FOLLOWED BY LOCALLY GUSTY WINDS, SMALL HAIL, AND DANGEROUS CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING. ISOLATED FLASH FLOODING IS POSSIBLE, ESPECIALLY ACROSS VERMONT WHERE THE HEAVIEST RAINFALL IS EXPECTED TO OCCUR.”

Gotta run out for a quick errand and then back here to close bay-facing windows and batten down the hatches. If we lose power, I’ll be off the innernet, of course, but plenty else to do around here, books to read, battery-powered radios, etc.
