By on October 19th, 2013 in earth science, science kits

10:14 – More work on kits this weekend. I’ll have Barbara get started on packaging 30 sets of chemicals for the earth science kits, starting with 30 g bottles of copper(II) sulfate pentahydrate, magnesium sulfate heptahydrate, and general-purpose water-soluble fertilizer, not to mention baggies of pea gravel, sand, clay, marble chips, and Plaster of Paris. As a matter of fact, she just left to run errands, including picking up several of those items at Home Depot.

Roger that, a couple of quarts saturated water solution of ammonium sulfate on my lawn and it is looking real sweet. Local soil is quite basic so I use salts of a weak base and strong acid. As non-fertilizer, I also dress with calcium sulfate.

    Thanks so much, MrAtoz.

This could all be a feint; stirring the pot a little, and then the Mooch suddenly starts getting “serious” soundbites and face time, instead of just pontificating on eating carrots and dancing to Cool J Snoop Prince or whomever. HILLARY! will then put on a show, sorta like they do in pro wrestling, and then the Mooch will “crush” her and get the nod from the Evil Half. The Repubs will meanwhile have put together their version of the Seven Dwarfs, each one loonier than the last, until they finally have a suitable “loser” to run against the Mooch, who will win in a fucking landslide, of course, thus having a “mandate” to fully run the country as a Marxist-Leninist totalitarian state. The Chinese and the Russians are watching all this in total astonishment, not believing people here could be so fucking stupid. Believe it, comrades, believe it!
