Mon. Jan. 8, 2024 – fang cleaning day…

By on January 8th, 2024 in culture, decline and fall, march to war

Cold and probably wet. We’re in a “possible” rain zone today, but should be clear again tomorrow. And I don’t think it will warm significantly. So, cold and wet. Yuck. Stayed clear all day Sunday though, an it was on the chilly side of “warm enough”.

Spent the day doing little things. Domestic bliss. Maintenance. Some work for my client. Some auction stuff. Doesn’t feel as good as remodeling the bathroom, but it was all stuff on the list.

Today is “family visits the dentists” day. We see a father/daughter team practice, and we all go at once. Saves time. As RBT used to say, we’ll be getting our fangs cleaned.

Then the children will be returned home while I pick up the stuff I won. Good stuff for the BOL mostly, with a thing or two for the house here.

Pennies on the dollar at best, dimes on the dollar at worst. It’s worth the time it takes, to me anyway.

Time to get moving on the bigger projects too.

Do what you can when you can. And stack.

Defense Secretary Austin Scandal Is Even Worse Than We Thought

When it was first reported on Saturday that Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin has been in the hospital since January 1, it was natural to assume that key figures in the Pentagon and the White House, for whatever reason, chose to keep his hospitalization a secret. What possible motive could there be for doing this? Who knows? It didn’t make a lot of sense, but the Biden administration has an extensive record of covering up scandals, so it wasn’t exactly out of character for the Biden administration to cover something up.

The truth that has been coming out over the course of the day suggests something far, far worse. According to the latest reports, not even the White House knew about Austin’s hospitalization.

“Senior Biden administration leaders, top Pentagon officials and members of Congress were unaware for days that Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin had been hospitalized since Monday, U.S. officials said Saturday, as questions swirled about his condition and the secrecy surrounding it,” the Associated Press reported. “The Pentagon did not inform the White House National Security Council or top adviser Jake Sullivan of Austin’s hospitalization at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, until Thursday, according to two administration officials.”

That’s bad. Really bad. And it gets worse.

A source familiar with the situation told CNN that not even Joe Biden knew.

“National security adviser Jake Sullivan ultimately informed Biden late Thursday afternoon, soon after Sullivan himself learned that Austin had been hospitalized, that source said. Austin was admitted to the hospital on New Year’s Day due to complications from an elective surgery,” CNN reported.

First, this is absolute proof that our free press is irretrievably broken, filled with partisan hacks, and totally effin’ clueless about their responsibilities.

Second, this is absolute proof that our military is irretrievably broken, filled with partisan hacks, and totally effin’ clueless about their responsibilities.

We can’t fire the press. We can turn their crap off and tell their advertisers why. Maybe a few will starve.

We can clean up the military.

Austin needs to be gone. Immediately. Skin color is not going to protect gross dereliction this time. He either retires himself immediately, or gets fired and brought up on charges. If he elects retirement, it’s conditional on full disclosure.

Then start with the video from the hospital. Identify everyone from Dec 31 onward that had contact with SecDef Austin. Serve them all with subpoenas.

Then the military lawyers and require signed statements :

“From Dec 26 to the present, have you consulted, discussed, or had casual conversation regarding the hospitalization of SecDef Austin? Explain any affirmative answers.”

Anyone with affirmative answers gets a subpoena. Here it gets tricky, because Biden won’t cooperate and there is no one with the authority to order this group not to have any discussion on the subject. Give them a strong suggestion, then give then copies of their oath to the United States, and remind them that “but” does not appear.

Then convene Congress, line up the military lackeys and start:

    Swear them in before questioning:

“Did you know that Austin was in the hospital”?”

If no: “Go sit over there in Section 1 and listen.”

    If yes:

“Were you told explicitly or in so many words or was the intent communicated to you in any way to keep it a secret or cover it up?”

    If no:

“Did you become aware at any time that his hospitalization was not reported, or that the knowledge of such was not being handled in accordance with protocol? And if so, what actions did you take”

    If no:

“Go sit over there in Section 2 and listen.”

If yes to either of the above:

“Who was telling you what, and who did you talk to? Did you get any instructions on what to say or not say today?”

“Go sit over there in Section 3 and listen.”

Then you bring in everyone from the hospital. Start at the top and work down to the people on the floor. Start their questioning by asking: ” Did you get any instructions on what to say or not say today?”

End with: “Go sit in Section 4.”

    Question to Section 4:

“is there anyone who would like to change their testimony?”

“Is there anyone who has heard someone say something that is different from your direct knowledge?”

Take any revisions offered from that group.

Staffers should be monitoring the testimony and flagging any that is contradicted by video evidence.

Then you go back to Section 2:

“Do you have any knowledge that contradicts the statements of anyone in Section 1?

“Do you have any knowledge that contradicts the statements of anyone in Section 2?”

“Do you have any knowledge that contradicts the statements of anyone in Section 3?”

Take testimony and move people between groups as indicated.

Between statements from Austin trying to salvage part of his life, and those in Section 2, there should be a fairly good picture.

Indeed. Absolutely nothing on CNN, ABC, CBS, or NBC about the event. The news stations in the U.S. are completely silent. Which also begs the question of the white house cronies informing the news stations to report nothing on the story. I briefly saw a story yesterday but that has quickly disappeared. The sponge brain has in the past attempted to force his version of events by restricting social media sites. At this point I would put nothing beyond the scope of corruption and manipulation with the current regime.

I think there’s a portion of the ‘wait and see’ group that would interpret martial law as a signal to go active.

Things would rapidly escalate as the responses would be used as an indication that ML was necessary in the first place.   And once the disappearances and assassinations start, the atrocities will follow, and then the next group will go live…

IOW, pretty sure ML would be the balloon, or a pretty decent approximation.

I suspect that the people in the White House are incredibly frustrated that they have not gotten their agendas implemented and are ready to do so by force in the last year of the Biden presidency:

    1. seizure of all private gubs

They had a couple of beef cuts I haven’t seen there before and there were a couple that were “economical” like “beef stew” and eye round roasts at $4.xx per pound. I don’t usually buy that cut, because it’s super lean and can be tough. Thought I’d give it a try with the same sort of cooking I used on the prime rib. Worked ok, was done the way I wanted, had a great beef roast taste, but yeah, much tougher than the ribeye cut.

Do them sous vide. I do chuck roasts and they come out super tender. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder (not garlic – not safe in long sous vide cooks). Cook for 36 to 48 hours at 135 F.

“Religious freedom, for example, was one of the most important Constitutional arguments against many Medieval public health policies during the Covid-1984 hysteria.”

“The Supreme Court struck down several lockdown orders on the grounds that they violated Constitutionally guaranteed freedom of religion, including Tandon vs. Newsom (California) and Roman Catholic Dioecese of Brooklyn v. Cuomo (New York).”

“But one of the most interesting religious exemptions in the United States has to do with taxes… and it goes back to the year 1965.”

“Congress passed the Social Security Amendments Act that summer– which created the Medicare program– and it was signed into law by President Lyndon Johnson on July 30th.”

“But buried deep in the legislation is an obscure section carving out a special tax exemption for religious groups who are opposed to insurance.”

“This exemption still exists today under section 1402(h)-1 of the Internal Revenue Code; there’s even a tax form– IRS Form 4029– to apply for an exemption of Social Security and Medicare taxes.”

So we all need to form our own church like L. Ron Hubbard formed Scientology.

80% held by institutions, with Blackrock, State Street, and Vanguard holding their usual 20%.

To be fair, Nimarata Haley sat on the board for about a year and, as Governor, facilitated the development of the South Carolina production line which will eventually be regarded as the beginning of the end for Boeing in WA State.

Boeing just moved HQ to DC, right across 395 from the Pentagon.

I think they survived as a company last time because of influence and deep pockets, and because it was foreigners dying far away and because it was explained as some weird computer issue with the new planes..

But the public understands what loose bolts mean in an airplane.  It means the manufacturer doesn’t care if you die.
