08:20 – It was 57.3F (14C) when I took Colin out around 0645 this morning, bright and partly cloudy. Barbara is due back sometime this afternoon.

Ruh-roh. That means I better get to work. As usual when Barbara’s away for several days, I’ve been living in filth and squalor. The place looks like a college dorm room writ large. The kitchen counters are covered with stacks of dirty dishes. The floors are covered with the partially-consumed carcasses of my prey. There are women’s undergarments hanging from chandeliers. I need to get everything cleaned up before Barbara sees it.

Oh, yeah. I forgot to mention that when I was repackaging the Aunt Jemima cornmeal I noticed a weight discrepancy. I weigh containers as I fill them. I ordered four 5-pound bags of the stuff, for a supposed total of 20 pounds. I filled five bottles to 3.5 pounds each, for a total of 17.5 pounds. That should have left me with 2.5 pounds in a partial sixth bottle, but instead I ended up with only 27.6 ounces in the final bottle, about 12.4 ounces short of 2.5 pounds. I used a shipping scale that’s accurate to 0.1 ounce, which I’d calibrated with standard weights. I tared each 2-liter bottle before I started filling it. So Walmart’s supposed 5-pound bags of AJ cornmeal in fact average 3.1 ounces short. Hmmm.

    hmmm indeed. Not very cricket.

I tried the powdered cream I linked reconstituted as per the directions.

It calls for blending the mix and letting it sit overnight in the fridge for best results. So I did.

The taste was fine, same hint of something in the background. No grittiness, very well dissolved. Still, I’d describe it as ‘watery’ as it doesn’t thicken. Worked fine in my coffee, and I’m sure would work fine in any recipe that called for cream, as long as it didn’t need to ‘whip’.

I’ll start stocking it as a coffee creamer, in addition to the canned ‘table cream’.

Their butter powder gets good reviews too. Most of the reviews of the butter say to use less water or more product, so that would probably work with the cream, but I’ll just use it powdered in my coffee.

    It’s good to have choices.

I would like to take this time to thank all the Libtards in New York for pledging to make up lost money to the Paris Accord fukstiks now that President tRump has withdrawn us. Also to all those dingbat city Mayors (Redumb and Dumbo alike). Many blessing on them for saving us. Good luck in your next election when you pledge your residents tax dollars to help the Congo into the First World.

  3. OFD says:

“… help the Congo into the First World.”

That ship has long since sailed. Pretty much all of Afrika, a truly huge continent, is lost, probably forever. As that Tube vid by Paul Joseph Watson on the Mediterranean refugee scams pointed out, many countries there are seeing their populations explode, some by orders of magnitude. There is absolutely no way they have or will have anytime soon, the economic, political and technological resources to sustain those populations. And even if teeming millions of them managed to cross the Med in big-ass rubber NGO boats, it would never be enough; Europe would simply see its countries overwhelmed but it wouldn’t solve the situations in Afrika.

We’re probably looking at eventual Hobbesian state-of-nature mass die-off, through famine and starvation, disease and war. And there is really nothing the industrialized northern hemisphere West can do about it. Like trying to put a band-aid on an arterial gusher or shovel sand against the tsunami.

And out of apparently psychotically self-induced libturd guilt and twisted altruistic impulses, our political overlords will keep sending their peoples’ tax dollars and Euros to those places, where, of course, they’ll immediately be misplaced and stolen.

As Watson also shows, this isn’t even counting the swarms of migrants, almost all economic, from the Middle East countries, and almost all musloid. And for every deceased toddler on the beach picture, there are 80 or 90 sullen and aggressively hostile young men of military age.

As for our own mayors and governors who intend to play their self-assigned we-know-better-than-you roles, their time will come. They will be remembered and dealt with.

Don’tya know millions of Pacific Islanders will soon be calling America home because of AGW? They won’t be going to Huntington Beach, however, as that will be 10 metres under water…

BTW, I blame Colin for the cornmeal discrepancies…

  5. dkreck says:

The good news is climate change and overpopulation have negative feedback. Yes there will be suffering for many but they are self regulating, especially for the stupid.

  6. CowboySlim says:

” They won’t be going to Huntington Beach, however, as that will be 10 metres under water…”

Just got back from walking my dog in the Bolsa Chica wetlands in NW HB (within 1/2 mi of ocean). We look to be OK for the weekend.

OTOH, I appreciate the concern and warning.

  7. CowboySlim says:

“We’re probably looking at eventual Hobbesian state-of-nature mass die-off, through famine and starvation, disease and war……”

Not sure about the characterization as “Hobbesian”; consequently, I would describe it as “retroactive birth control”.

  8. nick flandrey says:

Populations that outbreed the carrying capacity of their territory ALWAYS outmigrate as a swarm or suffer mass die offs.

Nothing new here, except the idea that this is some how new.

    n

  9. OFD says:

“Nothing new here, except the idea that this is somehow new.”

That is correct. OFD is merely reporting the upgraded historical version for 21st-C consumption. We’re seeing massive out-migration which will get continually worse, and eventual mass die-offs there. There will be rending of garments, gnashing of teeth and cries of lamentation in Brussels, Mordor and Babylon-on-the-Hudson. But there will be nothing of any import that they can do about it.

Some of us will be down on our knees thanking God and our brilliant genius Anglo-Saxon forefathers and foremothers for crossing the eastern moat 400 years ago and setting up here in North Murka. Yup, that’s right; the whole enchilada started and then got going mucho rapido from Jamestown and Plymoth-Boston. Like it or not. But we will now have to clean up our house, considerably, in coming decades.

At some point in the last few months, I read that the majority population in South Africa is getting ready to seize the assets of the minority population. That will be a continent-wide SHTF moment since a lot of productive investment flows from Cape Town to points north.

If Egypt remains a secular military dictatorship, there might be some hope there. Colonel Khadafy had the right approach for the region.

    Some customers…

In the summer months, we throw a monthly Texas-style barbecue, as an event for my wife’s company. The customers have to buy tickets in advance, because it’s always booked out. The star of the show is the brisket, plus we have spare ribs, pulled pork, smoked chicken, smoked sausage, homemade bacon and salmon candy. Geez, after looking at that list, we need to charge more – that’s a hell of a deal for $50 or so.

So…tonight is the night, the appetizers are served, and a woman walks up to the bar and says: “I’m a vegetarian; could I get a soup or something?”

Um. We’re just speechless. Mind you, she won’t starve – there will be a pile of salads, plus baked potatoes, and we can heat up some soup. Apparently the people who invited her along didn’t know she was a vegetarian, and she didn’t know this was a meat-monster event. But still…really?

  12. nick flandrey says:

While traveling throughout the US south, known worldwide for BBQ, one of our crewmembers was vegetarian. Always funny to stop in a BBQ joint and see her ask the waitress about meatless options, or even just salad.

One night, somewhere near Memphis, she explains to the waitress that she’s vegetarian and doesn’t eat meat, so can she just get a salad? Without missing a beat, the waitress asks if she wants bacon and ham on her salad…..

  13. brad says:

On the subject of Africa: the classic Let Africa Sink.

That can be phrased more nicely, but the simple fact is: Western aid in Africa has been largely counterproductive. They need to pull themselves out of the hole, starting with actually wanting to. Handing them money and food and goods and guns – most of which get sucked up by corrupt governments – is just not useful, and often actively harmful.

  14. SteveF says:

Brad, you should have just stared at her and said “No habla vegetarian.”

And for every deceased toddler on the beach picture, there are 80 or 90 sullen and aggressively hostile young men of military age.

The obvious solution is to fix that ratio by machine-gunning the teeming masses on the beaches or sinking the boats. Increase the number of dead toddlers and things will get straightened right out.

Another option, which just occurred to me and embarrasses me that I didn’t think of it first, is to just machine-gun all the journalists who take (or stage) the emotionally-firing pictures and the editors who decide to run them. To twist the old riddle, what do you call a hundred machine-gunned journalists screaming their lasts breaths in agony? A good start.

  15. OFD says:

I guess I’m just an old softy, so I knew I could count on Mr. SteveF to clarify matters nicely. It may just come to that, but if it does, it will likely be too late anyway for Europe. And good luck to any NGO asswipes running big rubber boats across our eastern moat, too.

Unfortunately we have our own asswipes running the show over here, so even if some Normals in Mordor try to do the right thing WRT to the swarms of rapefugees heading our way, we’ll always have shitbags trying to torpedo such efforts with “sanctuary” cities and blatant disobedience and law-breaking. THOSE are the people I most favor machine-gunning. Throw in a few tens of thousands of MSM rumpswabs and we’ll be off to a nice start, as the man said.

  16. OFD says:

Well we seem to have gone from spring straight to Mud Season, skipped summer altogether and are now in late September with temps around 50 each day and more or less steady rain again. And everything is green like it’s actually early June. Just made a tour of the back yard and perimeter to see what has to be done next there and man, if the state road in back of us warn’t there, nor the town park, we’d be back to tying up our boats off there like it was the 1930s again. We have rain forecast through Monday so that gives me not much time next week for things to dry out, assuming no more rain, before Mrs. OFD gets home.

So back to the indoor stuff, I guess.

Tomorrow is long train trip from Rena to Sandejford. Three nights there before returning to Oslo.

Took a trip to Lillehammer, site of the ’94 Olympics. Went to the top of the ski jump. Those jumpers are some brace dudes. Nice town. Also went to a Norwegian museum and that was interesting. Before 1920 life was really hard in Norway.

Hope the train is on time tomorrow.

I’m not an expert on the middle east, but from what I know, I would prefer King Abdullah II of Jordan. I think his methods would offend our Western sensibilities, but less so than any of those named above. I also think he is trying to lead his country in the right direction, but can only move so quickly.

Hey libturds, show us another picture of a dead toddler on a beach.

  27. OFD says:

Mr. DadCooks has stumbled upon the truth! Yes, it’s all tRump’s fault! And the rayciss patriarchal hegemony!

    “We won’t let hate win.”

“This is not the real Islam.”

“This will not stop us from living our lives.”

“This will stop us from welcoming new immigrants.”

Go ahead, open your borders, accommodate any language, and your culture becomes Miley Cyrus and violent-sexist hip-hop rubbish at deafening volume everywhere, and stay glued to your smartypants phone pixels. Those peaceful muslims will eventually be coming for you; kneel before the scimitars, or more likely, dull and rusty kitchen knives.

Afrika is lost, and soon, Europe and the UK. Then they just have to cross the moats.

We welcome new immigrants and always will.

(a retired SAS guy has said that given the green light, they could solve this problem in the UK; naturally that will never happen.)

  30. SteveF says:

Whoever said the Brit police won’t do anything was wrong. Totally wrong. The Brit police will arrest any native they think is inciting hate, making racist remarks, or otherwise not suffering in silence.

As with American cops and the laws they choose to enforce, it’s probably not the case that all Brit cops are cowards. However, it’s a distinction without a difference.

  31. lynn says:

(a retired SAS guy has said that given the green light, they could solve this problem in the UK; naturally that will never happen.)

Lynch mobs leading to a civil war. For example, the French revolution.

EDIT: Then guillotines for the royalty and bureaucrats. The Thames will run red.

  32. OFD says:

They can have the lynch mobs and rioting by Normals, or they can push the green light button for their trained specialists, who usually do a pretty good job. I’ll go on record, though, as saying that once the situation gets to the level of rioting and lynch mobs by Anglo-Saxon people, it’s gonna be a real bad scene. Apocalyptic.

Over there I guess they’ll have to throw chairs and use crowbars. If it gets to that level here, things will be a lot more lethal in a lot more of a hurry.

  33. MrAtoz says:

President tRump tweets: “our support for the UK, we’ll be there with anything they need, this is why we need my Travel Ban, take our rights back from the courts.”

MSNBC host tweets: “tRump is a piece of shit.”

NBC New tweets: “this is unconfirmed. We aren’t retweeting the President”

That’s the MSM, folks. Think they aren’t biased. Game over, man, game over. Boobus Americanus is brain dead. I can only hope Independents will react with their votes.

  34. OFD says:

Not only a simple-ass, elementary travel ban, like Obola and previous National Administrators had, too, but throw out the musloids already here. Send them back to their shit-hole countries. By any means necessary.

The MSM here needs to be totally ignored and their advertisers boycotted. And made fun of relentlessly on other media. Called out repeatedly and vilified, insulted, and humiliated.

Boobus Americanus will wake up, maybe, after a hundred musloids suddenly get moved into their ‘hood and schools, when the store shelves go empty, the ATMs and EBT cards are dead, the gas pumps ain’t pumping, no heating oil or gas deliveries in the dead of February, lights and pixels go out, and they start hearing gunshots down the block and getting closer each night. Maybe then.

That sounds like a measure of how good the BBQ sauce was. The more hand washing, the better it was.

I told the wife this morning that I read that 40% of USA muslims want sharia law in the USA and she said someone is faking their statistics. And then I got a lecture on statistics since she has a master’s degree where they apparently taught her how to lie about statistics.

  42. Dave Hardy says:

Lies, damn lies, and statistics. There ya go.

  43. nick flandrey says:

Lie about em or lie with em….

Was just reading an article about cyberattacks on O&G infrastructure and there was NOT ONE hard number just 40% of this, 20% increase of that, 10% decrease of the other. When someone doesn’t provide a base number so I can judge the magnitude of the problem, I assume they are trying to manipulate me in ways the numbers wouldn’t make me go.

I always assume the small number in that case. So attacks went from 6 to 8 per year….

    n

  44. Dave Hardy says:

Gee, base numbers? What are those?

Of course, we’re old babies and yeah, getting old really sucks some days. Tempus fugit and all that. Damn. Where did the years go? I met my wife 20 years ago in Boston and it seems like it was yesterday, and now both kids are grown and either gone or almost gone. One with three of his own and another one on the way. Yikes.

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MRATOZ!!!

  47. Miles_Teg says:
