08:37 – We sold two biology kits yesterday afternoon and overnight, which takes our stock of finished biology kits down to one. Fortunately, we have all the subassemblies in stock necessary to build another two dozen biology kits quickly, so we’ll get started on that today. We’re also down to one prepared slide set, so we’ll get another 30 of those assembled.

Are you ever tempted to slip in a prank slide? I’m thinking of a miniaturized shot of Andrew “It took me several tries to pass the bar exam but my daddy was governor so obviously I’m qualified to carry on the dynasty” Cuomo in full temper tantrum.
Way I figure it, traumatizing teenagers isn’t nice, but it’s funny, and that makes it worth doing.
Ha, ha. What makes teenagers get so incredibly upset defending something quite obviously stupid? Unfortunately, that was me as a teen, and my dad got incredible pleasure tormenting me when we got into those situations. He had this laugh he would interject at intervals, that alone would cut me down a couple notches. I can still hear it today.
Spent the weekend down the coast in Port Lavaca with my parents. Got to see one of my Mom’s polecats that are eating the outside cat food Saturday night. Sunday, I took Mom out to lunch after church and we were talking about the polecats with a friend of hers (Dad is undergoing chemo and just does not get out nowadays very often). The guy at the next table piped up and said that he had shot two polecats a couple of days ago. My mother thanked him very much and told him that we had one more when he was ready.
Just for grins, I googled polecats on my cell and we were looking at the pictures. Very cute but they are skunks with two stripes. Then I noticed that the Federal government is reintroducing polecats to Texas since they are “endangered”. I just about screamed. Those morons in Mordor XXXXXX DC are “reintroducing” polecats to Texas? What is wrong with these morons in DC?
