Steamy. REALLY steamy. That’s my guess for today. It got very wet last night, and I’m sure the ball o fire in the sky is still going to be there. That combo equals “steamy”. It was pretty dang hot yesterday too, until late in the day. Then it was almost nice.
Spent the morning doing all the “leaving the BOL” chores, and then part of the afternoon too. But I did get out before dark, and got home shortly after dark. Then the rains came…
Today I will sleep in, in my own comfortable bed. Then I’ll try to figure out what I can get done in the next few days before I head back to the BOL. I’ll spend a week doing something major without everyone else there. Or maybe two minor things. But it’ll be just me for a week. So I better have everything here in order.
Plans. I got ’em. We’ll see how that works out.
Stacking is cool though….

Monday. Good morning!
Warm and a bit overcast. The kind of summer weather I like. Off to the office presently for a meeting, and maybe lunch with colleagues thereafter. Megaproject persists.
Straw-, blue-, and raspberries with yoghurt for breakfast. Refreshing.
Have a good day.
Some years ago I was driving my daughter and a couple of school friends someplace. I referred to some other drivers as dingleberries. Most of the kids ignored it but one girl, a Ukrainian, needed an explanation. No, a dingleberry is not like a strawberry or anything else you’re familiar with. She’d been in the US for five years or so by that point but apparently hadn’t been around anyone as rude as Yours Truly.
Yeh, and I am one of those people. I am neither employed nor am in the work force. And I am living just fine. Of course, you could argue that I am on the government dole because 98.6% of my income, not counting interest and dividends, is from the government coffers. However, I earned that money through SS “contributions” ripped from my paycheck; and being significantly damaged during my contract with Uncle Sam that made me government property, with a serial number, to do with what they wished, including getting killed.
Rude or just well informed? Perspective matters.
The loaner Chihuahua’s woke me up at 5:30 to go out, yipping and whining. Since I stayed up late watching Project Hail Mary this was annoying. Six more days…

Current high desert 7-day forecast: 100, 102, 104, 105, 102, 101, 100.
It has actually been an unusually cool early summer / late spring. If the el nino prediction carries any water (heh) it might be a cooler and damper summer/fall as well.

My sisters heart surgery is today (other sister & niece are there at the hospital), fingers crossed, I might drive up to visit in late July when she is on the mend.
Write “A Journal of the Plague Years”. Tiny worthless dogs are categorized as a plague, aren’t they? If not, they should.
Well, Chihuahuas were used as food by the central American natives, so not entirely useless, this might be considered a form of stacking?
