cool, calm, and collected… nah, Cool, damp, and getting warmer later. It may be predictable, but it does make for some fine afternoons. We had another great weather day yesterday.
I did pickups, auction stuff, and even ran a load of stuff to my shop yesterday. I’m not selling or making money, which is unfortunate, but I’m also buying a whole lot less. And I keep stacking the stuff to sell, I just haven’t had the time, motivation, and stuff all in the same place.
There is a big pile of stuff for the BOL too. Wife and kids will head up this weekend, and I’ll join them later. I’ve got my hobby meeting, and we’re doing our quarterly swap, as well as planning the Christmas party. I usually volunteer to bring stuff to the party, and buy some things to dress the room, so I should be there to do that part. I can’t really believe it’s time to plan for Christmas.
Time just keeps marching on.
And the list gets longer. But. I will make some progress this week. In the couple of days I have left. And I’ll work on the stacks too.

Second up was Taking Chance. An HBO movie with Kevin Bacon. Like the Hallmark channel but for men. Very well done movie. Ok, my dad was a Marine. Did Iwo. Did Korea. Did a few years of being a recruiter. Did six months or so of Kennedy’s honor guard. No, really, he did. And he did Nam. I’m pretty sure he would hate this movie if for nothing else but opening old wounds.
Worth watching.

District court judges don’t have authority over the whole country. It’s judicial overreach that has to stop.
One of the worst offenders is the most overturned court in the country. Anything they do is an extra legal attempt to slow and obstruct the Executive Branch, knowing that the Executive has to act within the legal framework or appear despotic, and simply acting as a delaying tactic while knowing that their ruling is out of line and will be overturned.

I’ve stopped using my kitchen trash can. It’s taking me a almost two months fill it enough…… I have this thing that holds a grocery bag sitting on the trash can. Ain’t much in there but k-cups and snotty paper towels.
So. Recycle k-cups. I’m sort of bored. I have done this for a week. Yeah, peel off the top and dump the grinds and somehow we all gonna go to heaven.
Anyway. A week of three cups a day of gutted k-cups is about a quarter inch taller than three un-gutted k-cups. Yeah. The coffee grinds might be good for the grass. Yippee.. And the coffee grind less guts are , well, about three snot soaked paper towels.
Recycling k-cups? Totally a waste of time.

I have another stove in the basement apartment. Completely manual, no control board. The most sophisticated part is the thermostat for the oven. 40 years old and still works.
It’s a mess and time consuming to load the k cups. I did it on vacation and had 3 k cups loaded every morning… Cleaning them after is the biggest pain.

Assume that you have gone into the Extensions Settings for UBO and set up Disqus as a trusted site.
It may be that there is some other site that also has to be added. Perhaps looking at the Disqus site with Developer Tools to see other URLs that are being accessed with the request for the Disqus page.
I found a few answers with a DDG search for ‘ublock origin disqus’, with a filter for the ‘last year’, but don’t know if they would be helpful as I don’t access sites with Disqus commenting.. I suspect that you could use your favorite AI (like ‘duck.ai’) to help refine your search.
