Very humid but somewhat cool, due to yesterday’s rain.\u00a0\u00a0 Got a real gully washer at home, and on the way home as I passed under some thunderstorms.\u00a0 Parts were still dry.\u00a0 Houston.<\/p>\n
I got my networking sorted out.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Dug a trench, laid in some liquidtite conduit, did it right.\u00a0\u00a0 Tested everything and my switch has a bad port.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Got permission to order a replacement and keep this as a spare.\u00a0\u00a0 It was hot, but not as hot as it could have been.\u00a0\u00a0 Even on the roof, it wasn’t blast furnace hot.\u00a0 Installed a new antenna support pole, and the cell booster antenna.\u00a0\u00a0 Took down the DirecTV dish.\u00a0\u00a0 I am trying to not go back today unless the gate installer runs into something weird.\u00a0 Maybe Wednesday.\u00a0 I’ve got to pull the rest of the DirecTV gear out of the rack and the equipment closet.\u00a0\u00a0 I think it can wait a couple days for my stuff to come in.\u00a0 Makes more sense to do as much as possible at the same visit.<\/p>\n
Raced the rain home, but made it in time for the swimmeet.\u00a0\u00a0 It was good to see some of the people we used to see all the time.\u00a0 Kid swam well.\u00a0 It was very damp, wet even, and my joints will ache tomorrow.\u00a0 That’s the way it is though.<\/p>\n
Today I’ll do some computer work, some house work, and maybe some auction work.<\/p>\n
And I will spend some time thinking about Robert Bruce Thompson, re-reading some of his posts, and hearing his ‘mental voice’ in my head.\u00a0 Check out the keywords to the right.<\/p>\n
