Cool, damp, and warming later…\u00a0 that’s my story and I’m sticking to it.\u00a0 It was sunny and hot at the BOL this morning.\u00a0\u00a0 By noon it was sweaty hot.\u00a0 And damp.\u00a0\u00a0 Last night, Houston had distant thunder, and the smell of rain, but I didn’t notice any\u00a0 actual rain before I went to bed.\u00a0 I am hoping for clear today.\u00a0\u00a0 Stuff to do, stuff to do.<\/p>\n
I slept a bit later than I wanted to, and had to stretch and warm up a bit before I could really move well, so I didn’t get as much done in the morning as I’d have liked.\u00a0\u00a0 Well, if I liked it more, I would have done it, right?\u00a0\u00a0 Got the lawnmower back together.\u00a0 Didn’t get the mower deck installed.\u00a0 I haven’t done the maintenance on it, and it might have a bad spindle that needs replacing.\u00a0\u00a0 Definitely needs blades, which I should have somewhere…<\/p>\n
Got everything buttoned up and headed home.\u00a0\u00a0 I wonder if my sense of ‘home’ will flip, and when?\u00a0 It’s awfully nice up there.\u00a0 Did my pickup on the way home.<\/p>\n
Today I need to unload and put away some stuff I brought back (and I forgot a big item, but it’s not critical.)\u00a0 Then I really need to knock off a few of my list items.\u00a0\u00a0 I think dealing with the food storage and spoilage should probably be a priority this week.\u00a0\u00a0 Getting my storage organized and some stuff listed would help too.\u00a0 Same ol’ same ol’.<\/p>\n
There is a lot of repetition in prepping, a lot of iteration…\u00a0\u00a0 It can lead to burn out, and a lack of motivation, at least judging by my own experience.\u00a0 Don’t let it stop you though.\u00a0\u00a0 Keep plugging away, even if it’s just small things.\u00a0 I’m trying to do just that.<\/p>\n
And stack something, even if it’s just a box of bandaids.\u00a0\u00a0 It adds up.<\/p>\n
