Probably raining, cool, and wet.\u00a0\u00a0 Yesterday’s weather was rain as predicted but much later in the day than thought.\u00a0\u00a0 Then a little clearing, before the heavy rain rolled in later.\u00a0\u00a0 We got a bunch, which the grass needed.\u00a0 Today is supposed to be more rain, but we’ll see.\u00a0\u00a0 Might be some other part of Houston’s day in the barrel.<\/p>\n
Did auction pickups and drove around.\u00a0\u00a0 Mostly stuff for the BOL.\u00a0\u00a0 Got some good stuff at the bins.<\/p>\n
Spent over an hour talking to an old friend on the phone.\u00a0 It’s been too long since we spoke.\u00a0 I don’t want it to be so long again.\u00a0\u00a0 I also don’t know if I’ll get a chance to talk with my aunt again.\u00a0\u00a0 I was going to call her last week, and got distracted.\u00a0\u00a0 Now she’s in the hospital, with rehab and then skilled care in her future.\u00a0\u00a0 She might not make it home.\u00a0\u00a0 We never know what tomorrow will bring so do what you need to when you need to.\u00a0\u00a0 Might not be a ‘later’.<\/p>\n
Today should be me at the BOL meeting with the cable internet guy, but — they are liars that lie.\u00a0 I’m glad I decided not to try going up last night.\u00a0\u00a0 The company claims they sent email explaining that they don’t actually service my address, despite insisting that they did.\u00a0\u00a0 No such email was received.\u00a0\u00a0 The appointment was not canceled.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 If I had trusted them, I’d be up there cooling my heels while they never showed.<\/p>\n
Instead, I’ll do more stuff here.\u00a0\u00a0 There’s no shortage of things that need doin’.\u00a0\u00a0 Maybe we’ll decorate eggs tonight.\u00a0 Kids are off school and wife is off work, so I’m the only one working today.\u00a0 After last year’s scramble to find egg decorating stuff, I stocked up.\u00a0 No shortage of stuff this year, either for traditional color, or for more modern systems.\u00a0\u00a0 Gnomes are likely.\u00a0 I really like decorating eggs.<\/p>\n
I like to keep the old traditions alive.<\/p>\n
