Warm today, possibility of rain?\u00a0 We’ll find out.\u00a0\u00a0 There were some dark clouds in Houston when I got back last night.\u00a0 The national forecast has us in the middle of potential rain and T-storms.<\/p>\n
It was a beautiful day at the BOL, and a nice day to finish up what I was doing.\u00a0\u00a0 Got quite a bit of work done while the foundation guys were there.\u00a0 Foundation repair.\u00a0\u00a0 New water service entry.\u00a0 Repair to the main sewer line.\u00a0 Connected the pex that was in place.\u00a0 Ran and connected the gas line for the furnace, and got it running for winter.\u00a0 Worked on the dock.\u00a0 Cut the grass.\u00a0 Poisoned the ants.\u00a0\u00a0 Ran pex into the kitchen.\u00a0 Cleaned and organized.\u00a0 Did a dozen other small tasks.\u00a0 Changed out a toilet.\u00a0 And learned some things about fishing.<\/p>\n
For the next two weeks I’m at home.\u00a0\u00a0 I hope I’m as productive here because my list is just as long or longer.<\/p>\n
It’s hard sometimes to stay motivated.\u00a0 To keep grinding on.\u00a0\u00a0 But you’ve got to do it.\u00a0\u00a0 Take some time to enjoy what you are trying so hard to protect and preserve.\u00a0 Then get back to it.\u00a0\u00a0 Whether you are slow and steady, or your work is more ‘burst-y’ in nature, keep at it and you will make progress.<\/p>\n
Just keep doing it, and you will reap the rewards.<\/p>\n
