National forecast has Houston in the “rain and t-storms possible” area, and maybe we’ll get some.\u00a0 We are on the edge though, and that usually means “no”.\u00a0\u00a0 Beautiful day north of here yesterday, although it did get into the 90s.\u00a0 Scattered dark clouds and a spritz of moisture from the sky greeted my in Houston when I got near my neighborhood.\u00a0\u00a0 Typical Houston “somebody is getting rained on” weather.<\/p>\n
There was a lot accomplished at Casa de Nick, segundo.\u00a0 Just getting window coverings on all the windows makes it feel more homey.\u00a0\u00a0 Staying the extra day was worth it.\u00a0 Still lots to do of course, and all the major work still ahead.<\/p>\n
Today is the first day of the kids’ at home summer vacation.\u00a0 D1 is going to start doing some additional dog training.\u00a0\u00a0 D2 is … gonna do something.\u00a0\u00a0 Not sure what yet.\u00a0\u00a0 Lots of GS activity planned later, but some time to ease into doing nothing….<\/p>\n
I’ve got a jon boat to pick up, and one other lot that I’m sending to my mom.\u00a0 It’s a pole\u00a0 thing that should help her get into and out of the bath more safely.\u00a0 I won it cheaply enough that it is still cheap after I pay to ship it to her.\u00a0 One of my siblings or their spouses can install it during a visit.\u00a0\u00a0 And of course I have all the normal stuff to do.\u00a0 Even more of it, since I was gone 4 days.<\/p>\n
Time to get back to work stacking up stuff.<\/p>\n
