Why yes, on this cold winter’s night I am easily amused.\u00a0\u00a0 And it was cold, 33F at 1:30am.\u00a0\u00a0 Don’t know what today will bring, but I’m gonna go out on a limb and say “cold and damp, with clear sky”.<\/p>\n
Did some indoor stuff yesterday morning, and early afternoon.\u00a0 I was watching an auction for household stuff including a desk for D2 to go under her new lofted bed.\u00a0\u00a0 Won it, and some other stuff.\u00a0\u00a0 I was alternating that with stripping stuff off the family All In One PC, preparatory to either selling it or repurposing it as my “radio” pc.\u00a0 Not sure yet what I’ll do but I have to get it depersonalized and ready to sell, so I can get it out of the house.\u00a0\u00a0 Didn’t get much else done.\u00a0 Did test some audio gear for resale, so there is that.<\/p>\n
Today should be occupied with pickups and cleanup.\u00a0\u00a0 Unless I drive 2 hours north to look at a property one of our friends clued us into last night.\u00a0 Sounds nice and it’s on the lake we want to be on.\u00a0 In fact it’s near our friend’s lake house.\u00a0 Nice to have friends…\u00a0 It’s not the rural retreat that first one we looked at was, but it’s better than most and near people we know, and on a good sized lot.\u00a0\u00a0 Given the way inflation has been going, I would like to get some cash turned into real estate.\u00a0 The asking price seems pretty good too.<\/p>\n
We’ll see how quickly we need to jump.<\/p>\n
