Yesterday was cool and damp all day.\u00a0 Overcast never really broke, and we had misty rain in places and at times.\u00a0\u00a0 Usually when it was least convenient for me.\u00a0 Because it’s all about me.<\/p>\n
Did my errands.\u00a0\u00a0 Dropped off stuff for sale.\u00a0 Picked up some needful things.\u00a0\u00a0 I’ll be taking more stuff to the new auction today or tomorrow.\u00a0 And I’ve got a load for the ‘industrial’ auction as well.\u00a0\u00a0 The other auction hasn’t worked through all the stuff I brought them already.<\/p>\n
The pile is getting smaller, but very slowly.<\/p>\n
Today will be spent.\u00a0 One way or another, on what I hope or not, but it will be spent.\u00a0 I’m hoping to get my stuff together for the auction.\u00a0 I’d like to take some GS cookies to my gun store buddy.\u00a0 He has been a staunch and generous supporter of the troop but this year he couldn’t afford it.\u00a0 So I’m bringing him one of each as a gift.\u00a0\u00a0 Meatspace.\u00a0 Tribe.\u00a0 Network.\u00a0 Friends.\u00a0 Call it what you want, you need\u00a0 to get you some of that.\u00a0 Strengthen what you already have, look for ways to expand.\u00a0 Can you help someone out?\u00a0 Can you do someone a favor?\u00a0 Can you buy something from them or sell them something they need?\u00a0 Look for opportunities.<\/p>\n
I’ve been adding to my stacks this week.\u00a0\u00a0 It feels like it’s already Friday because I’ve gotten some stuff done, despite the lost day and the aching knee.\u00a0\u00a0 I need to keep this pace for a couple of weeks … and maybe I’ll get caught up to where I should have been in February.<\/p>\n
There is always more to do, more to learn, more to organize, more to fix, more to buy.\u00a0 Don’t let it overwhelm or paralyze you, do something, even just the first of many small things.\u00a0\u00a0 Get the ball rolling.<\/p>\n
With that in mind, I haven’t heard anything back from the electrician about the generator hookup.\u00a0\u00a0 I haven’t found a replacement truck yet.\u00a0\u00a0 And there are still lots of things to go through for my taxes.<\/p>\n
Baby steps are still steps.<\/p>\n
