Yesterday was 0ccasional light misty drizzle pretty much all day.<\/p>\n
Once the sun went down the temperature started to drop… da drop, drop…..<\/p>\n
46F when I went to bed.<\/p>\n
Got very little done during the day.\u00a0 Got a bit done during the afternoon.\u00a0\u00a0 I did do some housecleaning, and a load or 3 of laundry, and put clothes away, and some other domestic bliss, but no where near what my list needed.\u00a0 Sorting lego from megablox and chinese knockoff ‘building blocks’ doesn’t really count as work, even if it did need to be done eventually, does it?<\/p>\n
I made one of my bachelor staples for dinner though.\u00a0\u00a0 Canned chicken in maple curry sauce, over minute rice…\u00a0\u00a0 It all got eaten, wife liked it and the kids had seconds.\u00a0\u00a0 Hooray for me!\u00a0\u00a0 Of course my fingers still smell like the curry cubes, and I’ve washed about 7 or 8 times.\u00a0 Still, super easy, really tasty, and all from long term stores.<\/p>\n
I’m going to avoid talking about the show trial.\u00a0\u00a0 The language in the reporting is so over the top, I can’t believe I’m reading it.\u00a0 Does it really play well for the ‘folks back home’?\u00a0 If so, we’re in a LOT worse trouble than I hoped.\u00a0\u00a0 And what must the inside of their heads look like if they hear ‘coded phrases’ in everyday speech?\u00a0 They sound psychotic.\u00a0 Thank God they don’t do half of what the voices must be urging them to do.<\/p>\n
I am increasing my stores.\u00a0\u00a0 Holy cow this won’t end well.\u00a0\u00a0 They are actually nuts, and there is no reasoning with crazy.<\/p>\n
You need water, and ways to get more.\u00a0\u00a0 Food.\u00a0 Meds.\u00a0 Comms.\u00a0 Money.\u00a0 And you need them in place and outside of normal channels.\u00a0\u00a0 “Normal” has left the building, and won’t be back for a while.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 And hey, if I’m wrong, donate it to a food bank later on.\u00a0\u00a0 I know there will be plenty of them.<\/p>\n
