Yesterday stayed cool all day.\u00a0 It was clear and dry but never really warmed up.\u00a0 It was 40F when I went to bed.<\/p>\n
Didn’t really get much done yesterday.\u00a0 Watched my local auctions throughout the day, and watched the news stories roll in.<\/p>\n
Didn’t do super well in the auctions.\u00a0 One was a disaster.\u00a0 I had lots of items sell for a couple of bucks that should have sold well.\u00a0 I even bought one of my own items the price was so low and I’d actually spent money on buying it originally.\u00a0\u00a0 I won’t be using that auctioneer again.\u00a0\u00a0 The lego sold well.\u00a0 The k’nex sold badly, some bulk even going unsold.\u00a0\u00a0 40 year old concert T shirts brought $30-$50 EACH.\u00a0 Crazy.\u00a0 Hot Wheels and train stuff brought what I was hoping for.\u00a0 Kitchen stuff- corel and pyrex sold ok, not super, but not bad.\u00a0 Purses sold poorly.\u00a0 The photos were really bad.\u00a0 When a genuine Coach handbag, in simple black leather goes for $3 something is terribly wrong.<\/p>\n
The stuff I dropped off Wednesday should list for next week in the better auction.\u00a0\u00a0 I’m supposed to take a load to my ‘industrial’ auctioneer today.\u00a0 That’s why I’m hoping for clear weather.\u00a0\u00a0 It will get more stuff out of my storage and that’s a good thing.<\/p>\n
I want to accelerate getting stuff sold.\u00a0 I think the economy will not survive Biden and his plans.\u00a0 Not at the ‘man on the street’ level, not in the financial markets.<\/p>\n
It’s possible we might be going to look at a couple lake properties on Saturday.\u00a0 I really want to accelerate that plan now too.<\/p>\n
