Tuesday it rained.\u00a0 All over town in varying degree.\u00a0 Lots where I was.\u00a0 Not so much at home.<\/p>\n
I ran my errands.\u00a0 Fixed the plumbing issue at my rent house.\u00a0 Got it the first time, with the stuff I had with me, and didn’t have to do the second part after all….\u00a0\u00a0 that’s two miracles and a ‘nice save’…. I feel like a lotto winner.<\/p>\n
Of course I also found out that my tenants are getting married in May.\u00a0 Which means I’ll need new tenants when they get pregnant.\u00a0 House is fine for two, too small for three.\u00a0 And he had the ‘rona, but she never got it.\u00a0 Locked in with him, and him with both symptoms (mild to ‘this sh!t sucks’) and a positive test, her with two negative tests.\u00a0\u00a0 Three whole weeks and she never got it.\u00a0 Crazy.<\/p>\n
Harvested two stalks of broccoli from the garden.\u00a0 They are about fist sized heads.\u00a0\u00a0 Maybe they’ll be dinner tonight.<\/p>\n
While sitting at my computer I’ve been ripping my way through the hundreds of CDs in the two binders I picked up.\u00a0 The burned copies were all bad.\u00a0 But I’ve been having good luck with the commercial disks.\u00a0 Almost all have ripped, although some have taken a whole lot of re-reading and oversampling.\u00a0 A couple just needed washing, and I polished 2 so far that I really wanted to rip.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 I’ve done a couple hundred so far with the same left to go.\u00a0 Then the physical media goes to storage.\u00a0 I’m not the guy who rips his collection then sells all the disks…\u00a0 anyway, I like owning physical media.\u00a0 After this, I’ll have just about every Lynyrd Skynyrd disk ever released- something that wasn’t one of my life goals, but I’m a completist.\u00a0\u00a0 If I’m going to burn all the disks, I’ll burn ALL the disks.\u00a0 Even 20 or more Skynyrd disks.\u00a0 Le sigh.<\/p>\n
Today I’m home with the student, so I’ll be doing home stuff.\u00a0 There’s certainly plenty to do.<\/p>\n
Perhaps I’ll get a chance to do some stacking…\u00a0 Something I recommend to everyone \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n
