It was a very pleasant day yesterday, with some light wind, and not a drop of rain.\u00a0 Humid, yes.\u00a0 But with the help of the industrial floor dryer, I got the pool liner dried out and rolled up.<\/p>\n
Did some minimal leaf blowing and raking then realized I’d have all day at home today to do that.\u00a0 So I stopped.\u00a0 Did an auction pickup.\u00a0 Dropped off a few smalls for my other local auction.<\/p>\n
Ate my orange from my very own tree for breakfast.\u00a0 It was good.\u00a0 Not as sweet yet as store bought, but still good. Did I already mention that?\u00a0 Can’t remember.<\/p>\n
Not feeling particularly well.\u00a0 Coughing, stuffed up head, sore eyes, mild headache coming and going.\u00a0 Feeling ‘half a bubble off’ all day.\u00a0 Bumping into\u00a0 things with my legs, stumbling.\u00a0\u00a0 Bit of sharpness in my upper lungs.\u00a0 Sore throat.\u00a0 No fever and I can still smell and taste.\u00a0\u00a0 So I tried to find a quick test place yesterday.\u00a0 There used to be at least three in the area I was in.\u00a0\u00a0 Not any more.\u00a0 Big upswing in cases, EVERYONE saying “get tested” and at least 3 local test sites are shut down.\u00a0 Bugger me.\u00a0 I need a rapid result too, because I’m supposed to leave for Florida on Friday.\u00a0 And that’s a whole ‘nuther ball o wax…<\/p>\n
I’ll try again today.\u00a0\u00a0 I might have to try researching first.<\/p>\n
I’m definitely trying the “more sleep” approach, if even for just an extra hour.\u00a0 So I’m going to hit “save” on this post and hit the hay.<\/p>\n
The ‘prudent’ buying is sweeping the nation again.\u00a0 Maybe ‘prudent’ isn’t quite right,\u00a0 ‘understandable’ or ‘sensible’ might be better.\u00a0 In any case, if you are going into a lock down of unknown length it makes perfect sense to buy a bit more than you normally do, when you can pop down to the store at any time.\u00a0 Doesn’t take too many ‘bit more’ s to strip the shelves.\u00a0 It’s not like they stack the stuff to the ceilings, and it’s still delivered ‘just in time’.\u00a0 Or more likely, ‘too little too late’.<\/p>\n
Which is why we prep -so we don’t have to worry about wiping our nethers with the cleaning paper of choice, or with some pages from Green Eggs and Ham…<\/p>\n
TP isn’t the only thing that will be in short supply soon.\u00a0 Stack it high.<\/p>\n
