Oct. 26, 2020 &#8211; another week to fritter away"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> Cooler and overcast.\u00a0 Maybe some rain.\u00a0 Plenty of humidity I&#8217;m certain.<\/p>\n<p>Did lots of little things around the house yesterday.\u00a0 Actually cleaned up some things and put some stuff on shelves.\u00a0 Doesn&#8217;t feel like\u00a0 much and it wasn&#8217;t.<\/p>\n<p>I cut the grass in the backyard.\u00a0 Mower battery died after about 5 minutes.\u00a0 Put it on the charger while I used the string trimmer, and even though it wasn&#8217;t fully charged it was good for the remainder of the yard.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Put it back on the charger when I finished.\u00a0 Did some string trimming around the blueberry bushes.\u00a0 I don&#8217;t let the lawn guys do that.\u00a0 They used to just whack off the bushes too.\u00a0\u00a0 Cleaned the filter in the pond.\u00a0 Water was still clear but flow to the aerator\/waterfall was slow.\u00a0\u00a0 There was about a 1\/4 inch of fine black silt on the top of the filter.\u00a0 Flows good now&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Many ripe lemons, but the oranges and grapefruits are still a bit green.\u00a0 I don&#8217;t want to wait too long, but I want tree ripened fruit!\u00a0 I cleaned up the failed planting beds, and I&#8217;ll try some other seed packets tomorrow.<\/p>\n<p>Plugged in lights for a couple more fake jack o lanterns in the yard.<\/p>\n<p>And that was about that.\u00a0 My wife spent the afternoon with her Brownie troop.\u00a0 They did a couple of craft projects including making &#8220;sit upons&#8221; and decorating them.\u00a0 Before heading out, my 9yo discovered the vinyl cutter.\u00a0 Oh MY.\u00a0 She&#8217;s turning out 3 and 4 color stacked stickers.\u00a0 She&#8217;s using my wife&#8217;s Cricut cutter so she&#8217;s not drawing the shapes but she&#8217;s doing all the rest.\u00a0 She&#8217;s doing a great job of making good looking vinyl too.\u00a0\u00a0 I might have to get her dialed in on Inkscape and my big cutter&#8230;.<\/p>\n<p>Today should be more of the same.\u00a0 More cleanup, more auction, more wasting time on the internet with my friends&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>And somehow, I&#8217;ll find time for more stacking.<\/p>\n<p>nick <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p> Cooler and overcast.\u00a0 Maybe some rain.\u00a0 Plenty of humidity I&#8217;m certain.<\/p>\n<p>Did lots of little things around the house yesterday.\u00a0 Actually cleaned up some things and put some stuff on shelves.\u00a0 Doesn&#8217;t feel like\u00a0 much and it wasn&#8217;t.<\/p>\n<p>I cut the grass in the backyard.\u00a0 Mower battery died after about 5 minutes.\u00a0 Put it on the charger while I used the string trimmer, and even though it wasn&#8217;t fully charged it was good for the remainder of the yard.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ttgnet.com\/journal\/2020\/10\/26\/mon-oct-26-2020-another-week-to-fritter-away\/\">&nbsp;&raquo;&nbsp;Read more about: Mon.
