Dreary and warm.\u00a0 Humid and overcast.<\/p>\n
Thursday was overcast with scattered showers.\u00a0 Most parts of town got at least a bit of rain.\u00a0 I dodged through it mostly as I drove all over town and back.<\/p>\n
Picked up the new desk chair to complete my daughter’s room makeover.\u00a0 It’s purple mesh!!11!!111!11\u00a0\u00a0 It’ll match very well.<\/p>\n
I also swung by my secondary location and did a small bit of reorganization.<\/p>\n
All in all, didn’t get that much done this week.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Not really thrilled about the progress.\u00a0 I better get something done this weekend.\u00a0 Oops, probably won’t as we’ll have rain and weather.\u00a0 And Monday-Tuesday I’ll have roofers messing up everything and making noise.<\/p>\n
It was nice eating mostly out of the freezer this week, with a few canned goods.\u00a0 King’s Hawaiian rolls freeze very well, fwiw.\u00a0 The new temp monitors give me some peace of mind too.<\/p>\n
The peas have sprouted and are currently growing.\u00a0 None of the other seeds have sprouted yet.\u00a0\u00a0 I super suck at gardening.\u00a0 My wife made the argument that I should just give it up as I’ve only really grown collards and carrots, and a couple of beets.\u00a0 I’m going to keep at it though.\u00a0 Eventually I’ll have to find stuff that grows just through blind luck, right?<\/p>\n
The oranges and grapefruits continue to ripen.\u00a0 I’m really hoping for a success there.\u00a0 Unless they’re ‘woody’ they should be fine as the color is coming in, and they are a good size.\u00a0 The Meyer Lemons are like weeds, they grown in spite of me.<\/p>\n
The second house search continues.\u00a0 They’re doing land office business for rural properties at the moment.\u00a0 Lot’s of people planning to GOOD…<\/p>\n
And now we’ve got Delta headed across the Gulf.\u00a0 Fortunately for Texas, it is supposed to turn north, which is un-fortunate for Louisiana.\u00a0 They are going to get hammered again.<\/p>\n
Fires are burning, riots are raging, hurricanes are still coming in, and civil war 2 looks to be heating up.\u00a0\u00a0 About all I can say is — keep stacking.<\/p>\n
