June 19, 2020 &#8211; just another day"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> And a hot one at that.\u00a0 Humid too, unless I miss my guess.<\/p>\n<p>Yesterday was hot and humid.<\/p>\n<p>I got some work done in the garage, and some work done going through the bins of inventory getting ready to take a bunch to auction.\u00a0 My previous load sold.\u00a0 Some surprises, some disappointments.\u00a0 However, the stuff is gone&#8230; and money is coming.<\/p>\n<p>We have swim team today, with time trials.\u00a0 I&#8217;m even more concerned about our attending, as a family in our circle has all tested positive and are isolating at home.\u00a0 The kids&#8217; music teacher, her husband, and their kids are all sick.\u00a0 She had gone back to work, and the kids were in daycare, so who knows what the path was.\u00a0 If they know, they aren&#8217;t saying.\u00a0 It highlights what I&#8217;ve been saying though.\u00a0 It&#8217;s still out there.\u00a0 People are still getting sick.\u00a0 The reopening is happening because we &#8216;flattened the curve&#8217; and there is capacity to deal with new cases.\u00a0 And anywhere people are getting together, anywhere they kept working, they are continuing to get sick.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking of continuing, what can&#8217;t forever, won&#8217;t.\u00a0 That includes this nation as we know it.\u00a0 Think about what has already changed in the last 20 years.\u00a0 Or 40 years.\u00a0 Huge swaths of public life are completely changed.\u00a0\u00a0 They will continue to change.\u00a0 We aren&#8217;t going back to &#8216;normal&#8217;.\u00a0 Start working on where you want to be and what you&#8217;ll do to get there.<\/p>\n<p>Dinner was Frito Pie.\u00a0\u00a0 If you don&#8217;t live in the south, that&#8217;s when you dump chili on Frito brand corn chips.\u00a0 Add some chopped onion, and shredded cheese if you want to.\u00a0 Traditionally served in the opened bags of Fritos and eaten from the bag, I made it in bowls this time.\u00a0\u00a0 I&#8217;ve done it in the bag, and I&#8217;ve done it as a casserole too.\u00a0\u00a0 Yum.\u00a0 Quick and easy too.<\/p>\n<p>Keep working on getting ready for what comes next.\u00a0 Keep stacking.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>nick <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p> And a hot one at that.\u00a0 Humid too, unless I miss my guess.<\/p>\n<p>Yesterday was hot and humid.<\/p>\n<p>I got some work done in the garage, and some work done going through the bins of inventory getting ready to take a bunch to auction.\u00a0 My previous load sold.\u00a0 Some surprises, some disappointments.\u00a0 However, the stuff is gone&#8230; and money is coming.<\/p>\n<p>We have swim team today, with time trials.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ttgnet.com\/journal\/2020\/06\/19\/fri-june-19-2020-just-another-day\/\">&nbsp;&raquo;&nbsp;Read more about: Fri.
