Hot and humid.<\/p>\n
Yesterday was miserable hot and stuffy.\u00a0 The sun was brutal.\u00a0 I did my pickup but didn’t head to my secondary.\u00a0 The location, and the angle of the sun meant I’d be working in full sun, in a concrete canyon- in other words, boiling my brain.\u00a0 And while boiled brains might be tasty, mine need to stay unboiled and in my head…<\/p>\n
So I’ll be looking to do some of that today.\u00a0 We’re on the edge of a storm system so it might not be so sunny.<\/p>\n
First things first though it’s donut day for swim team.\u00a0\u00a0 The kids don’t like to miss donut day.<\/p>\n
My work will have to wait until after swim team…<\/p>\n
Dinner last night was carry out pizza from our local.\u00a0 The good cook was on and the pizza was really good.\u00a0 I masked and gloved for the pickup.<\/p>\n
It shouldn’t really be a surprise, but the world and the protests continue to amaze me.\u00a0 And not in a good way.\u00a0 People have lost their damn minds.\u00a0 There is a mania sweeping the country.\u00a0 You don’t want to get caught up in the crazy.\u00a0 Hold on to your core.<\/p>\n
If this keeps going it is gonna be a long and dangerous summer, culminating in one of the ugliest election seasons ever.\u00a0 Our enemies are not going to let this go by either.<\/p>\n
Take your joy where you can find it, but don’t retreat or ignore what’s going on.\u00a0 And GET PREPPED for a dark couple of months.<\/p>\n
