Hot. Oh my hot. Mid 90sF in the afternoon, no breeze, but at least there was some overcast. That’s what today will be like too, probably.<\/p>\n
I hid indoors. My back was killing me. Standing. walking. sitting, all hurt. Eventually I got the shiatsu machine to work on it, followed by a hot shower and stretching, then more stretching. It finally moved, and felt good for about an hour. Not much productive happened. I think it was caused by the time I spent standing on the sloped roof, pressurewashing. That was very awkward and I did it for a couple of hours. In any case, it really hurt and I didn’t feel like doing anything more than catching up on paperwork and online auctions. <\/p>\n
Today I’ll have to do some stuff. I’ve got a craigslist guy and an ebay guy that need more info about stuff I’m selling, so I have to go figure out the answers to their questions. Fortunately I told them I’d get back to them on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
I’ve got kid taxi, and domestic bliss to do today too. No rest for the wicked. Or wrest ‘or the wicket. Sticky or not.<\/p>\n
Today is the 7th anniversary of my dad’s passing, and I miss him. I’ve been thinking about him a lot this last week, when I wasn’t focused on the job. His legacy is me, my siblings, our kids, and a some things he made for us. I feel like I’ll have done pretty well if I turn out just like him.<\/p>\n
In the mean time, I’ll keep working. And stacking. And hoping.<\/p>\n
