It was 19 degrees, sunny, and windy when I took Colin out at 7:30.

I was down to see Bob yesterday. He was about the same though the doctor did take out the right side chest tube while I was there. He still has the large trach and left side chest tubes.

I want to let you know I always mention names and tell him you are pulling for him. You also know he has never liked the Christmas holiday and comes up with several anti-Santa devices. I will say no more except last night we had 45 mph winds so he blew right past us.

Best wishes of the season to you and Bob, whether that’s Saturnalia, the Solstice, the lengthening of the light, Hanukah, Christmas, or even Kwanza….

May our New Year be better than the last.

Merry Christmas to all, believers and non.

This is the season of hope and the best for the future.

Prayers and blessings for Bob, Barbara, and OFD.

  3. Terry Losansky says:

I am impressed. Bob must have gotten a nurse to order a high-power anti-santa fan.

Best wishes through this trying time.

    Merry Christmas!

Kids are up, presents are opened (I got a drone!) and the debris field is widespread!

Even the dog gets to open his own present, and he loves tearing thru the paper.

This is an absolutely magical time (6 and 8) and I’m doing all the cheesy stuff I can to make it memorable and magic. The hoof prints and nose prints on the door are super easy (chocolate syrup and my knuckles) and get squeals of delight. (‘course with 6 and 8 yo girls LOTS of things get squeals of delight.) [PIERCING squeals of delight]

It appears so ! Or, something to do with the fact that Santa is an arthropod.

Hah, I’m a drone pilot now! As soon as I can mount a weapon, people better watch out!

Oh, can I add my Bug-A-Salt to my drone? I’d be the terror of the wastes….

(for the 3 minutes the drone batteries last….)

  16. Mr.K says:

Merry Christmas to all.. Especially Barbara, RBT and Mr.OFD.
I would agree with MRAtoz regarding heroes. They are few and far between nowadays.
We certainly cannot lose the ones we have and there are few right here amongst us.

Great day yesterday, dinner with family & friends, skyped with a few more. Ate too much as usual, was glad to get home and relax.
Lovely day today, Boxing Day, listening to the cricket on the radio, dismantling the dishwasher. There is always some drama over the holiday period.. 🙂

Hah, I’m a drone pilot now!

Have you registered with the FAA? If not you are just an outlaw.

  18. nick flandrey says:

Tiny little drone, no reg required.

Still a lot of fun zipping it around, and I’ve still got to figure out the wifi DL for the camera video.

I can see the appeal now, they are fast, fairly easy to control, and quiet. Mine has one button take off and landing, one button altitude lock, and a heading lock.

I could totally fly it indoors!
