By on August 29th, 2016 in science kits

09:04 – It’s that time of year. We got a bulk order overnight for the CK01B chemistry kits, which we’re low-stock on. So today will be devoted to building a new batch of those, including bottling some chemicals we’re low on. More later, if I have time.

Comrade Sanders got mostly commie-union donations to his campaign:

Comrade Welch got a combination of those and retail:

    https://www.opensecrets.org/politicians/contrib.php?cid=N00000515

And here’s Comrade Leahy, Mr. Sandinista, who gets the big bucks from the big boyz:

    https://www.opensecrets.org/politicians/contrib.php?cid=N00009918

What a racket all these guys have; and right down to the rep level, they eventually leave office with WAY more than they could have possibly earned through just their salaries and allowing for any spousal income. And they all try so hard and spend so much to get in; but no one ever seems to notice this chit.

Sanders sells out all his True Believer commie followers at the Dem convention, drops to his bony knees for Cankles, and days later he has a “$600,000” lakeside mansion up here and we’re supposed to believe it was possible due to a previous family real estate sale in Maine, how convenient.

There are gonna be a LOT of very angry and bitter peeps out here come November, no matter which psychopath is elected. Riots and mayhem if it’s Cheeto-Head; war and repression if it’s Field Marshal Rodham. Great choice, but I’ll take the former, which can be dealt with a little more easily. And it will mostly affect the warm zone cities anyway.

CNN was caught altering a tRump tweet and reading it on air. They left off the “Crooked” portion of Hillary. Crickets from the MSM. Oh, that’s right, what does CNN stand for? Un-Be-Lievable!

  3. Dave Hardy says:

I am old enough to remember when CNN was a fairly decent tee-vee nooz operation and relatively neutral or borderline “conservative,” and now they’re just another regime cheerleader and bunch of liars.

  4. MrAtoz says:

Huma is separating from the Wiener after his latest scandal. Now she can be Wiener free with Cankles. Just the way she likes it.

  5. Dave Hardy says:

She can’t just “separate” from him; she must get Jihadi John’s replacement to saw his head off with a rusty kitchen knife, according to the Muslim Brotherhood Playbook, with which she has long enjoyed a political and economic relationship, plus, probably, A-Q and ISIL. Their previous signing off on her marrying a Jew must be null and void now.

Florida millionaire releases surveillance video of his ex-fiancee ‘beating herself up’ after she claimed he attacked her

Scott Mitchell has released the footage of Mary Hunt hitting herself
Follows her claims that he abused her during their bitter legal battle
Businessman has accused her of stealing $2.1million worth of jewelry
He called off the engagement to a furious Hunt last summer

Ice Road Truckers star Darrell Ward is killed in a plane crash en route to film a new show about air disasters

Ward was flying with a co-pilot when their Cessna single engine plane crashed on approach near the Rock Creek Airport exit of Interstate 90
He had just left The Great American Truck Show in Dallas, Texas
Ward became very popular over the past four seasons for his fearlessness in traveling dangerous terrain
He was also well known for helping other truckers in need

    He was living the dream.

    nick

(and I do see the irony…)

  14. nick says:

And here’s one that has some intersting meta issues involved:

“Almost HALF of U.S. households have at least one gun, new poll reveals – with a sharp increase in domestic weapon ownership over the last two years

The Pew Research Center says 44 percent of homes now own guns, compared to 51 percent without
The new study indicates a sharp increase in firearm ownership in the U.S.
In 2014, different research showed 31 percent of households had guns
Requests for FBI background checks have reached record levels in 2016, indicating demand for firearms continues to rise

    Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3763576/Now-44-percent-households-one-gun-showing-sharp-increase-domestic-weapon-ownership-says-new-poll.html

The things that catch my eye are the high percentage of trump voters that support restrictions. I’m wondering what the question looked like, and if this sentence is even supported by the survey. “Some 90 percent of Hillary Clinton supporters are for the more stringent checks alongside 75% of Donald Trump backers”.

This comes right after the gun show loophole lie. Like the freaking hydra, you just can’t kill that thing.

And then there’s this “The numbers indicated a decline of nearly 19 percentage points since the peak gun ownership average of 51.2 percent between 1976 and 1982, the NORC survey showed.

That research pointed out that the previously downward trend seemed to be related to the decrease in the popularity of hunting.”

So for 6 years the number of households stayed steady at ~51%? Then what did they do? ROSE steadily from 82 to the present.

And who divests themselves of guns? OR could it be the passage of the AWB crappola discouraged people from answering the survey truthfully?

And with that in mind, who answers truthfully when called up by a stranger and asked if they own guns? Certainly not anyone liberty minded….

    nick

Oh yeah, and this puts the lie to Obammy’s claim that most people are anti gun. MOST people appear to be voting with their wallet and BUYING guns.

  18. Robert Bruce Thompson says:

Holy Cow! The shocker is not that they fired the article, but that they published it in the first place. Obviously, they have no editorial control over what their authors write.

  19. Dave Hardy says:

Google got caught earlier today or yesterday dumping any search references to the Cankles health scandals. They are so in the bag, along with FaceCrack, Microslop, Twitter, etc., etc.

As for the firearms ownership stats and polls, I’d classify them as patently worthless. And I stick by my guesstimate that there are half a billion to a billion firearms in the U.S. currently. Ranging from antiques and absolute junk through cutting-edge selective-fire stuff with grenade launchers, etc., etc. And I know for a fact that there are PLENTY of, and increasing fast, homebuilt guns. Not mention machine guns. Just the gun magazine writers and editors and gun store owners; I’ve seen pictures of their friggin’ collections/armories and they have WALLS of stuff, from floor to ceiling.

You can bet that if the SHTF bad enough and we have war-like conditions, we will see a lot of this stuff come outta the woodwork.

He needs to climb down off Beacon Hill and get a ticket on the MBTA Clue Train about just how many Murkan peeps either know or give a flying fuck what’s going on, and that is damn few.

Orlando and San Bernadino and Paris are off the Murkan derp radar now because Honey Boo-Boo is growing up and Kim Kardashian lost weight and some wench or other left “The View” this week.

  37. H. Combs says:

Re: CNN – back in the 90s I had a 3 meter satellite dish on our farm. We could watch the raw video feeds from all over the world back to CNN Atlanta. During the first gulf war, I spent a lot of time watching what CNN received then what they decided to put on the air. In every case they slanted the news. One case was their local guy covering an anti war protest in LA from the top of a camera van. The cameraman was panning across the 300 or so protestors when a man climbed on top of the van yelling “Why won’t you film us?” The cameraman turned to speak to him and the camera swiveled to show a counter demonstration about the same size, across the street. We could hear the cameraman say “Nobody wants to see that” before returning the camera to the screaming anti war group. Saw lots of stuff like that. CNN heavily manipulated the news back then.

  38. SteveF says:

    I’m gonna die! Waaaah!

You’re married, aren’t you? Shouldn’t you be running toward Death like a long-lost best friend?

CNN heavily manipulated the news back then.

The smart assumption to work with is that everything coming from the MSM is slanted or just wrong. And that should be applied retroactively. It’s known that American TV news crafted their Vietnam stories to affect the American war effort, it’s known that the TV and major newspapers have been influencing elections all in the same direction, and it’s known that all the major “news” outlets have been making up stories from whole cloth for forty years or more. The working assumption has to be that the only difference between 1960 and today is that now we have enough eyes and enough mouths to catch them at their lies and to spread the word.

  39. Robert Bruce Thompson says:

I remember Heinlein saying that on several occasions he’d been present when major events occurred that were reported on by network news and never once did what they reported correspond to what he’d witnessed.

I also remember being with my friend David Silvis when the network news was reporting on events in Chile. He went to med school there, did a residency, and opened his own clinic. He operated that for several years before moving back to the US. He knew Chile like a native and spoke unaccented Chilean Spanish.

The news report claimed to be fresh footage. David almost choked on his drink and shouted, “Look at the license plates!” I had no clue until he explained that all the license plates in the video were in a color scheme that hadn’t been used in several years.

  40. Dave Hardy says:

“MrsAtoz needs my help next week on a one day gig. Guess where! Chicago!”

Are ya gonna be there in August or September next week? How does September look for KIA’s in the Windy City? Hell, just dial up Commissar Emmanuel and you’ll be all set.

“CNN heavily manipulated the news back then.”

Yeah, it’s been going on a real long time; none of them can be trusted.

“The smart assumption to work with is that everything coming from the MSM is slanted or just wrong. And that should be applied retroactively.”

    Exactly.

“…the only difference between 1960 and today is that now we have enough eyes and enough mouths to catch them at their lies and to spread the word.”

    Indeed.

“You’re married, aren’t you? Shouldn’t you be running toward Death like a long-lost best friend?”

    A lover, even.

  41. MrAtoz says:

Maybe Oprah still has digs there. MrsAtoz is besties with Stedman. I could hole up in her panic room.*

*There’s a joke in there Mr. steveF.

  42. Dave Hardy says:

Mrs. OFD is besties with would-be commissar Sanders but I think she was far better off being besties with Keef (Stones guitarist of some fame). Keef is kind of a right-winger and reads chit-loads of military history.

And we don’t got no stinkin’ panic room here; WYSIWYG, brick outside and and early 19th-C wood inside, but woe unto any goblins who enter sans invitations.

  43. nick says:

ferfal has a long video where he looks at venesuala and lessons to be learned. More on the cautionary tale, than direct recommendations, he let’s you see it, he explains it, and you can figure out what to do.

    n

    http://ferfal.blogspot.com/

  44. Dave Hardy says:

Good link, thanks, Mr. nick. I just ordered his book accordingly. Don’t really know how much time we have left in this country but it ain’t real long. Not with the “official” $20 trillion in debt; our regime attempting to get us involved in more horrific wars; continued and increasing surveillance and repression at home; and more tens of millions of ordinary, working and decent Americans unemployed.

Look just at what they have in me: a middle-aged (late?) and still angry and bitter vet of three Murkan wars and years of street cop work, laid off repeatedly from the corporate IT world despite working like a navvy throughout, fairly literate and well-read, and armed to the teeth. Multiply me by millions, many of whom are far more trained and experienced than I am in mil-spec and LE stuff, and many of whom are even more angry and bitter then me.

  45. Mr K says:

“This is a very readable article for friends and family that think criminals are just misunderstood (or whatever).”

This would lead to much hand wringing by my wife and her church group..
“That poor man.. What can we do.. etc. etc..”

Regarding Venezuela.. The only sad thing is that prick Hugo is not alive to see his country go down the gurgler…

  46. nick says:

    ” only sad thing ”

Yep, as Ferfal himself repeats throughout, it’s their fault. They voted for the crooks.

What does that say for us? If hillarity wins, we’re full on kleptocracy. Nationalization already had a trial run with GM. Wage and price controls can’t be far away.

The only bright spot is the massive inertia involved tends to slow the process and ’round off the edges’. The only dark spot is the massive inertia involved tends to make the coming hard times impossible to avoid….

    n

  47. nick says:

The TL:DR version of ferfal’s video:

These people VOTED themselves this misery.

The problem is CORRUPTION more than political ideology.

The connected are doing fine, and probably profiting.

The people that could leave, either have, or should have.

It sneaks up on you, sort of exponentially [and humans aren’t good at understanding exponential growth] ie. it’s a little bit worse, then a bit more, then a bit more, then [seemingly overnight] that last doubling slams home and you are in the sh!t.

As bad as it is in the cities, it’s worse in the rural countryside.

    Farms do NOT have food.

Forget luxury items, they may be available but only because they are unaffordable.

STAPLES. Pile them high. The simple things are the baseline of human need and they vanish because everyone needs them.

Medical care is non-existent, unless there’s a ‘rich person’s hospital’ somewhere.

    nick

  48. SteveF says:

There’s a joke in there Mr. steveF.

Sorry, I stopped reading your comment when I got to Oprah and bestiality. Different strokes for different folks, but that’s a little too different. I mean, sure, sex with a goat something that some people like, but making a goat have sex with Oprah is animal cruelty, plain and simple, and I refuse to countenance that.

  49. Miles_Teg says:
